I have my pro's & con's about EVERYTHING.. But this place right here.. THIS PLACE RIGHT HEREE...Hubby ordered a plate off doordash a few months prior & couldn't figure out which resturant he ordered from because we ordered so much it wasn't on a recent history. He surprised me for lunch with this because local Chinese restaurants are trash.. especially the one across from this place(we shall get into that later πŸ˜…).. when he ordered the bento tray I instantly fell in love.. idk maybe it's the bigback in me. I passed this place so much talking shit because I DO NOT LIKE TERIYAKI SAUCE NOR FOOD! & I'm like a whole resturant dedicated to it? Oh hell nah πŸ˜….The day before yesterday I went to bj's & thought I'll save some money by not ordering from expensive ass doordash & actually take my behind inside & see what's it about on the inside (cause iykyk). To my surprise it was very clean, ♿️ accessible, & they didnt stare at me, looking down like other Chinese or Japanese people do.. shit I came in there with a whole bj's shopping cart as I waited for my ride. I got crazy stares from the customers not the workers. The prices there are $11-13 for the trays plus tax but on doordash it's about $15 plus their fees.. that's good that the prices aren't too off.. like I stated I never stepped in the resturant so I didn't know they cooked the food right in front of you, to me that's always a GOOD SIGN. The staff didn't give me no problem nor charged extra when I wanted extra wasabi and sushi ginger (THOSE MY MUST HAVE OR I DONT WANT IT πŸ˜…).MY daughter doesn't like the beef, I think it's okay but the chicken is a no for me, not because it's nasty but here it comes again where i don't like teriyaki & that brings out the taste of it. I always order the shrimp but we tried the salmon. HONESTLY I WAS AFRAID TO because you ever had dried salmon? Over cooked? Over seasoned? Undercooked? Well... the smell was getting me as i waiting for hubby & my bento tray.. so I was a punk & convinced my daughter to get the salmon & let me try it.I WAS MAD! .. Her salmon was better then my shrimp. I should have went with my nose. Hubby said it needed more seasoning but I think to each it's own.. I want to taste the 🐟 not the seasoning & if he orders he can add his salt.πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈAny who πŸ’πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ.. i didn't try to make this that long 😭..On doordash during a certain time they give you a percentage off for lunch or brunch or something like that 'happy hour i guess, but I am not sure if they do that in person & if they do that's amazing.πŸ˜ƒLast time hubby ordered online he got the California rolls & now that's a part of my order. I never tasted them so good & fresh.. my teen daughter says this is a must now everytime we go grocery shopping no more the frozen brand 😫😫 πŸ’Έ.The thing i found out I love the most about this place is that they give back.. so for every 6 trays you get one free.. sadly it's only the chicken & if your reading this you know how I feel already. I wish they had that with online orders because I think imma need to collect atleast 2 of them free trays.🀣🀣My cons for this place .. (I know i talk alot 🫠 & these is my honest review. Thank you if you made it this far 😭) my only cons is the need to add more to the menu. I didnt check if they had a bathroom so I can't give my rating on that but overall I haven't had no issues with them besides one time forgetting my wasbi & sushi ginger .. that's threw off my meal πŸ₯².. but that is a preference of mine. The food was still good without it, though. No complaints about the food &i am not big on rice but it's good as well. The meal completes & compliments each other.. no free drink if you was wondering.Wish me luck next I want to try the eel ..🀞🏾😡 - Star Bliss (Star)
