Popped in for lunch on a Thursday. We both ordered the hibachi lunch special (chicken). The meal was tasty. I haven’t been here in a few years, but did notice the portion size has decreased. They also have sushi and bento box lunch specials

We have been going to Tisumi for years and always really enjoy our visits. They are not the fanciest sushi restaurant in town but they’re reliable and convenient, I’ve never had to wait for a table and the service is quick. The sushi is fresh and delicious and there is a nice selection. I recommend dropping in and giving it a try!

This is hands down my favorite sushi spot! The food is always fresh and delicious, but what really sets them apart is their incredible service. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and quick, making it the perfect place for a lunch break.Even when they’re busy, they manage to bring out orders quickly without compromising quality. I never have to worry about long waits, which is a huge plus when I’m short on time. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, they always make the experience smooth and enjoyable.If you're looking for great sushi with exceptional service, this place is a must-visit!

I ordered a lobster roll and I have to say it was awful! Whatever meat was on top of the roll was not lobster and it was so stale that I could not even pick up a piece of sushi without the whole thing falling apart. I called the restaurant And they claim they can’t help me. I spent $20 on a horrible role and I will never be back.

Service was the most unfortunate as I was greeted with no smile, as I just sat down she asked me what I wanted to order with out looking at the menu. I witnessed her smiling and laughing with her co workers but her tables she had the least hospitality face expression. When I got my sushi I said thank you 5 times, she said nothing. People eat out for the great service, and food. I gave 5 stars cause your sushi is the best I had in Connecticut thus far. Your service sucks because of the server I had. The hostess was kind enough to say have a good day while my server was on her phone handing me the check. I still gave her 20% tip but perhaps management can do a better job training their staff as how to approach tables.
