Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok Introduce
In the vibrant culinary landscape of Everett, Washington, Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok stands as a local establishment offering Japanese-inspired cuisine, primarily focusing on teriyaki and wok dishes. Located at 7405 Hardeson Rd STE D, Everett, WA 98203, this restaurant provides a convenient option for those seeking a quick and flavorful meal in the area. The restaurant can be reached by phone at (425) 423-0888 or via mobile at +1 425-423-0888.
When considering a dining establishment, particularly within a category like "Doctor Near Me" which implies a local service provider or convenience, Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok positions itself as a readily accessible food option for individuals in the vicinity. Its location on Hardeson Road suggests it caters to a local clientele, perhaps those working or residing nearby, looking for a casual and efficient dining experience.
Regarding the **environment** of Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok, recent customer feedback indicates a shift in the dining presentation. Historically, the restaurant may have offered a more traditional dine-in experience with food served on "real plates with real utensils." However, current observations suggest a transition to a more casual, perhaps takeout-oriented setup, with food now being served in "plastic boxes with a tiny plastic fork." This change implies a move towards a more utilitarian dining atmosphere, which may appeal to those looking for a quick meal without the formalities of a full-service restaurant. The reported decrease in customer traffic during lunch hours, a time when the establishment "used to be packed," could further suggest changes in the overall dining environment and appeal.
In terms of **services**, Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok primarily offers a selection of teriyaki and wok dishes. The operational model appears to be counter-service based, with customers ordering at the counter. One customer review highlights a decline in the restaurant's willingness to "accommodate any special dish requests like they used to," indicating a potential streamlining of their service offerings and a focus on standardized menu items. The availability of beverages has also seen a change, with reports of "plastic bottle of soda" being provided due to an alleged non-functional "fountain soda" machine. This suggests a more basic beverage service compared to what might have been offered previously.
The **features** of Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok revolve around its menu of Japanese-inspired teriyaki and wok items. While specific menu details are not provided in the available information, the restaurant's name clearly indicates its culinary focus. Customer opinions on the food itself are varied. One long-time patron praises the food as "super yummy" and expresses consistent satisfaction over several years, suggesting a reliable level of quality for their preferred dishes. Conversely, another recent experience describes the food as merely "OK," coupled with observations that "portions seem to have shrunk." This discrepancy in feedback indicates that the quality and value perception of the food may vary depending on individual preferences and recent changes implemented by the restaurant. The reported increase in prices, with an entree and a drink now costing $21 compared to a previous price of "like $14," is a significant feature that could impact customer perception of value.
As for **promotional information**, none is explicitly provided in the available customer reviews. Therefore, any discussion of specific promotions or marketing strategies would be speculative. However, for a restaurant in a "Doctor Near Me" category, word-of-mouth and local online reviews often serve as informal promotional tools. The conflicting nature of the provided reviews highlights a current challenge for the restaurant in maintaining a consistently positive public image. The stark contrast between a loyal customer's long-standing positive experience and a former regular's highly negative recent visit suggests a period of transition for Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok. A restaurant in this context might benefit from transparent communication about any operational changes or menu adjustments to manage customer expectations and potentially win back patrons who have had less favorable recent experiences.
It's worth noting that customer service is a critical aspect of any dining establishment. One review mentions a negative interaction with a staff member at the counter, describing them as "very annoyed" by a communication barrier due to a "thick accent." Such instances can significantly impact a customer's overall dining experience and willingness to return. The long-term customer who continues to find the food "super yummy" suggests that for some, the core product remains appealing, overriding any perceived changes in service or environment.
In conclusion, Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok in Everett, WA, presents itself as a Japanese-inspired eatery with a focus on teriyaki and wok dishes. While it has garnered a loyal following from some customers who appreciate its food, recent feedback points to notable changes in its operational model, including a shift to disposable dinnerware, altered portion sizes, increased prices, and potential variations in customer service. These factors collectively contribute to a mixed public perception, indicating a dynamic period for the restaurant as it navigates evolving customer expectations and operational adjustments. For local users searching within a "Doctor Near Me" context, Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok offers a convenient and accessible option for casual Japanese-style meals, though recent experiences suggest a need for customers to be aware of potential changes in their dining experience compared to previous visits.

Tokyo Teriyaki & Wok Reviews
They have really gone downhill with the new owners so i stopped coming here for a couple years but gave them another chance today and they are worse than before! They used to serve your food on a real plate with real utensils now you get a plastic box with a tiny plastic fork, I prefer fountain soda but they said it doesn't work so I get a plastic bottle of soda, food was OK but the portions seem to have shrunk and they won't accommodate any special dish requests like they used to, I'm here in the middle of lunch hour and there is 1 other person here, this place used to be packed during lunch so what does that tell you, plus their prices have gone way up, I think I used to pay like $14 and today it was $21 for 1 entree and a drink. Guy at the counter seemed very annoyed that i couldnt understand his English because of his thick accent, I won't be back.

Jan 07, 2025 · liah scottFirst time at this place. Walked in with the gentleman eating his food. And I said hi, first time here and I chose your place versus next door and he was kind of like so what do you want? Zero customer service. I did not quite understand his card machine for payment. So I took it out too soon. He got upset at that. Accidentally did a second time with the wrong button. Still perturbed and I gave him a dollar tip and it said I'll give you a dollar tip I appreciate it. Not even a thank you or not or knowledge that. I kind of wish I never tipped him. Instead of getting up and bringing me my food which most places do, he sat there eating his food and said your food is at the counter..... you need to have some people skills and appreciation for the people that are paying your light bill in your space rent. 0 atm, no customer service, why bother
Feb 14, 2025 · Jim Cplease learn how to make food properly before offering it to customersGeneral tso's chicken never comes with vegetables. This is absolutely unacceptable. it looks like orange chicken not even close to general tso's chicken
Jul 09, 2024 · john smithPERFECT TERIYAKI. Cute little place with a large menu. When you order rolls, they make it, not get it out of batch. When you order multiple kinds of teriyaki, you get a serving of each. Better than Best Teriyaki.
