Torizen Reviews
Always love all the food here. I’m here for dinner several times with my family. This is my first time lunch. Menu is totally different and smaller than dinner menu. There are no sushi options for lunch. Mainly lunch menu is noodles and single kitchen dishes. They also offer special of the day for both lunch and dinner. I like that menu is changed every time. I also try something different. My favorite dish of today is Agedashi tofu. ❤️
May 12 · Yui BraydenCan sometimes be hard to get a seat if you come without a reservation, but during the week it’s not too busy. The food was excellent as well as the service. I really enjoyed the traditional izakaya atmosphere; I have not been to any other Japanese restaurant in the NW suburbs that has the same vibe. The Otokoyama sake was delicious as well.
April 24 · Lilly P.This place is a hole in the wall. Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. My wife who travels a lot and been to Japan to eat authentic ramen says that Torizen has the best ramen in America so far.Loved eating here and will definitely be back to try everything on their menu. If you come for dinner expect a 20-30 minute wait time.
December 03 · JJ ZamoraThe staff is really friendly and the food is amazing. We tried Tonkatzu, Miso Ramen, Deep fried dumplings with shrimp and Black chicken meat nuggets. All of them were delicious, fresh made and very well presented. The service was fast.
January 16 · Plamena AngelovaDining at Torizen was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff was attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for a cozy evening. The Tori Karaage was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender inside. The freshness of the ingredients in the Sushi Moriawase were unforgettable. I’m still dreaming about the buttery-soft melt in your mouth texture of the Faroe Salmon Sashimi that I had. Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! I highly recommended Torizen for food enthusiasts! :)
