Toshi's Teriyaki has built its reputation on several key features that resonate strongly with its clientele:
- Delicious and Consistent Flavor: This is the cornerstone of Toshi's appeal. Reviewers consistently praise the taste of their teriyaki, noting its exceptional flavor profile. The consistency means customers can expect the same high quality every time they visit, a crucial factor for building a loyal customer base.
- Generous Serving Sizes: A recurring theme in customer feedback is the ample portions provided. This makes Toshi's Teriyaki an excellent value, ensuring that diners leave feeling satisfied and well-fed.
- Classic Teriyaki Offerings: While Toshi's likely offers a range of Japanese-American comfort foods, the chicken teriyaki is a clear standout. Both the regular chicken teriyaki and the spicy teriyaki are highlighted as favorites, catering to different palates. This focus on well-executed classics is a hallmark of successful local eateries.
- Friendly and Welcoming Staff: Despite one customer noting the gentleman at the grill and counter is "quiet," he is consistently described as "kind and joyful." This personal touch and welcoming demeanor contribute significantly to the overall positive dining experience and foster a sense of community. The long-standing presence of the husband and wife team, even with the sad passing of the wife, speaks to the dedication and personal investment in the business.
While explicit promotional offers aren't detailed, the strongest promotion for Toshi's Teriyaki comes directly from its loyal customer base. The reviews themselves act as powerful testimonials, showcasing the restaurant's ability to create "forever customers."
- Word-of-Mouth Marketing: The enthusiastic endorsements, like "This is our favorite teriyaki spot in the area" and "I’m a forever customer," are invaluable. Such strong positive feedback spreads organically within the community, drawing in new patrons based on trusted recommendations.
- Community Connection: The personal connection forged by the owners, described as "sweet people," contributes significantly to the restaurant's enduring appeal. The sense of a family-run business that cares about its customers builds a strong bond that goes beyond just the food. The acknowledgment of the wife's passing and the impact it had on a long-time customer demonstrates this deep-rooted connection.
- Consistent Quality as a "Promotion": In a competitive food landscape, consistency is perhaps the best promotion. Knowing that each visit will deliver the same delicious food and generous portions eliminates guesswork for customers and makes Toshi's a reliable choice.
While the "Doctor Near Me" platform typically lists medical practitioners, imagine it as a hub for immediate solutions and relief. In this broader sense, Toshi's Teriyaki acts as a "Doctor Near Me" for culinary needs. Feeling low on energy or simply craving a comforting, satisfying meal? Toshi's provides the perfect prescription. It’s a testament to how local businesses, even those outside of traditional healthcare, can provide essential services that enhance daily life and offer a form of "care" to their community members.

Toshi's Teriyaki Reviews
I used to eat here all the time. I absolutely loved the husband and wife team... They are both sweet people. I am sad the wife is no longer with us. I haven't eaten here in a minute, but this place was always my favorite teriyaki place to eat all the time. I can't imagine people not absolutely loving their food. I really enjoyed this place and cannot wait to go back
May 28, 2025 · OThis is our favorite teriyaki spot in the area. Delicious and consistent with generous serving sizes and phenomenal flavor. We usually get the regular chicken teriyaki for the kids and spicy teriyaki for my husband and I. The gentleman that works the grill and the counter is quiet, but always kind and joyful. I’m a forever customer.
Jan 25, 2025 · Katie WhitelandTerrible place to eat - Chicken Teriyaki came with mushrooms and it was never disclosed anywhere that it would come with mushrooms. There was barley any chicken -- despite that, the food had no flavor! Heavy on the rice - will never eat here again. I suggest you save your 20.00 and eat elsewhere.
Jan 04, 2025 · Jhonnathan SanchezIt's a hole in the wall place. But the food was very good. Folks are correct there really isn't any seating inside and 2 tables outside for customers. But as I wanted take away it wasn't an issue. I enjoyed the food and felt that proportion was good. I plan to go back. The owner was friendly and got me my order done quickly.
Jun 05, 2024 · Dean DexterI haven't tried the food here and now I never will because they told me to leave when I was sitting at one of the outdoor sidewalk tables on an empty day. I am a local. I am in this shopping center nearly every day. I wasn't harming anyone. They weren't busy so I wasn't taking up a customer's spot. I know not to take up tables if there are people with food looking to sit. But it was empty. I will never be a customer now.
