Toss-Fried Chicken and Ramen(Alvernon) Reviews
Toss has some really great ramen, the broth is definitely one of the most flavorful around in my opinion. Toppings are delicious. They char the chashu, and you can pay extra for fried chicken to add as well. For non ramen eaters, you can order fried chicken or a chicken sandwich, which are both great. Prices are fair, and the decorations are anime themed. Why 4 stars? Well it's a little dirty, needs updating, the ac barely works so it's warm inside. Otherwise I'd love to give the place 5 stars.
Jan 25, 2025 · KrisThe food was delicious!! I like that they separate the fried chicken from the broth but was surprised we didn't get a normal bowl since we ate there. The desert ramen was too spicy for me (glad I got the regular chicken ramen) but my husband loved the spice. Excited to go back and try more!
Mar 10, 2024 · AshleySo good and authentic. They do a great job on the eggs. They are perfectly cooked and flavor. Very affordable and still delicious. The ramen noodles were chewy and fresh! Not doughy or over cooked. They did the pork up right as well. The wings were very flavorful. The meat and all. However, we got it to go and they were soggy and not crispy. But you could tell at one point they were. I would suggest different packaging for the wings.
Mar 21, 2025 · Tiffany TweekremI loved the food. I was looking for a cozy ramen spot and this was perfect. Fresh, tasty! I loved the fried chicken! You can just get that and not even get ramen and it still be a delicious meal. I’ve had a lot of ramen out of the US and I thought it was pretty good!
Sep 24, 2024 · ToriBarefoot Review: Toss Fried Chicken and Ramen!Fair warning, my Guest Reviewer and I had eaten at this restaurant before, so it's not like we were in for a shock. Another warning, if you give me the option to have what is essentially chickie nuggies and fries then I'll do that, so I ordered the Toss Chicken combo w/gyoza while our Guest Reviewer got the miso ramen.Toss Fried Chicken combo - the chicken they use has amazing seasoning, and the skin is nice and crispy! Like most fried foods, it's best fresh, but the flavor makes leftovers worth it! I personally get the salt and pepper style because it gives it a good base flavor and I don't want to try something too bizarre and then not enjoy it, but now that I've had it a few times I am ready to try something new.Miso ramen - our Guest Reviewer ordered this, since this is her standard ramen dish. The broth is creamy and the pork tastes great! For her, there's a lot to the ramen, so I imagine hungry ramen lovers would enjoy it!Gyoza - hard to go wrong with this, and they pan fry it well so that it's crispy and soft! I'm not the biggest fan of their dumpling sauce, but it's def okay! And now on to the score! The price for eating here balances well with the amount and quality of the food you get! My score: 4/5 🍜, would definitely return!
