Tsunami Panhandle Reviews
Great experience, very large menu and good variety of quality fish. Some prices a little unreasonable but 95% I would say are priced fairly. Their happy hour is a great deal and the environment is chill while also feeling a little more on the upscale side for a day drink or quick bite.
Apr 14, 2025 · mia mcclearyThey were able to accomodate a walk-in at 8pm for 3! Romantic, candlelit atmosphere. Lively but not too loud for conversation. Really good sushi at reasonable prices. Also, buy a bottle and get a dozen of really big and tasty oysters for free.Adding to^ tried their Happy Hour and it’s AMAZING! Both drink and food options on the HH menu were great. The Sochu they make in store is unbelievably good. Probably my favorite alcoholic drink yet! Had the lemon one and waitress brought a free plum shot at the end of the meal because I enjoyed it so much. I really appreciate that this restaurant is authentic, high quality, but also tries innovative plates.
Oct 01, 2023 · Jenny WangThis now one of our favorite spot in the city for Japanese sushi/sake etc. They have a very impressive collection of sake/souchu (Japanese whisky), probably the largest I've seen in SF. They have knowledgeable and friendly staff, so it doesn't matter if you are new or super experience already with sake, they can find something that surprises you. Moreover, their sushi is so fresh and delicious and goes so well with their drinks, that just make us want to come back again and again. The vibe is great with hip and trendy music, and the decor is very classy, artsy, and has an Asian elegance to it. Come see for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. We will definitely go back and bring our friends along.
Jul 20, 2021 · Michael Wu PhDAmazing. Came for a business dinner and we had 6 special rolls, Uni, oysters, sake, cod, cherry trout, and 6 different types of sashimi.Lovely, quiet atmosphere.Would 1000% return soon!
Apr 18, 2025 · Liz StrongWe had dinner there yesterday right after the restaurant opened. We tried all the items on the happy hour menu, chirashi and sushi combo. The fish were super fresh. And the team were very friendly. Will definitely come back later. One thing is, it would be better if the wasabi came stronger.
