Uchi Denver Reviews
Date night early evening on a Saturday. We were at the Nuggets playoff game and had to call and push our reservation back by 30 minutes which they graciously accommodated.Server seemed overwhelmed and the runners did most of the work. Overall the service was a 7/10. I expected more for the price. We did the omakase tasting and it was fantastic. 9/10. We did send back the pork belly as it was overcooked. Cocktails were fantastic for the price. Atmosphere 9/10. A bit dated but the sound level and spacing was great. We did it once, we don’t need to come back. One of the most expensive meals we’ve had at $370 for both.
Apr 20, 2025 · Anna BerdingI was so glad to see Uchi had expanded from Austin and Houston. Uchi is a whole experience, which I suggest, if you are open to exploring tasty new things and Japanese cuisine, just have them bring out courses until you’re full. I like letting the chef and crew get creative and bring out some real one of a kind dishes. I used to go to Uchi all the time back in Houston years ago and I was worried about their execution in Denver, but they nailed it big time. Even with less adventurous people with me, it was a huge hit and like an old friend. From their valet parking, food and drinks… Amazing. Just FYI, kinda pricey but you’re getting what you paid for, happily recommend!
May 18, 2025 · Jeremy YoungAmazing experience. Sat at the sushi bar and just ordered 6 plates between two people. Highly recommend eating at the sushi bar for quick delivery and talk to the nice chefs. We did wait a little longer for our reservation due to previous patrons, but the manager was very sweet and accommodating while we waited. The sushi bar also was very spacious so you do not feel like you are in other diners space. Amazing ambience and design and great staff. I hear there is a location opening in DC so I look forward to visiting when back home.
Apr 11, 2025 · Kelechi NinaThis place is such an amazing experience! The food is phenomenal! The wait staff was beyond polite! The atmosphere is very clean, professional, and high-end. I cannot stop thinking about the amazing time my best friend and I had here. It is a very luxurious and sophisticated place, and the prices do reflect that, but if you are looking for the perfect place for a romantic, elegant, and or sophisticated restaurant for a great meal, this would be the place! The laychee martini is to die for, and the sushi is seriously next level! The in-home garden of herbs adds that extra spark to every dish.
May 09, 2025 · Ali SterlingI am blown away by the quality food and service. Truly cannot wait to be back. This wasn't everything we ordered, but everything was delicious. Some items were from the Happy Hour menu 4-6pm, so they are a bit smaller than the regular menu. Thank you, Nina- we had a great time with you as our server!
