Umaya Ramen Reviews
Nice atmosphere and clean place. Friendly staff.Did hve a long wait for my ramen but it was worth it. Got the beef udon. Delicious
April 20 · Zoe RabagoUsed to be one of our regular go-to place for ramen. Not anymore. Food quality has been a big disappointment for the past couple years, but we were hopeful and thought we'd give it another try.We noticed a bad odor when we entered the restaurant. It smells like a pile of dirty laundry or sewage. We were there for a Saturday dinner. The place was packed, but we waited only a few minutes. The service was quick and so was our food.I decided to try their bento box. The chicken teriyaki was served in a to-go flimsy plastic container for a dine-in. The chicken tasted old and dry, and so was the rice. The beef noodle was bland. Yoshinoya would have been better. My friend had the tonkotsu ramen. She said the noodle was overcooked and the broth was bland. I decided to try her tonkotsu. The broth was neither rich or creamy. There was no umami flavor to it. Tasteless. We've had many ramen dishes. From Cerritos to Tokyo. Unfortunately, this place is a culinary letdown.Earned two stars for the attentive staff and the vibes, but we're not coming back.
May 18 · amie kIt was a pleasant experience and the food was delicious. The broth for the ramen was really good and the toppings were great too. The prices were reasonable and the menu had a good variety of options. The staff were friendly and there was not a long wait. There is an option to upgrade the ramen and the next time I will. It a good place for family and friends to go. It is accessible and there’s plenty of parking.
April 22 · Sandy Herreraservice 10/10 all waiters were really attentive.food unfortunately did disappoint. i ordered the tontukso black ramen since i read it was their “best one” and it was neither good or bad nothing to recommend here.noodles were too thick and hardand the flavor was just ok. could’ve been a lot better. also there is a weird smell coming from the food bar it might’ve been the fish but they should find a better place to put it since it’s not pleasant to eat with that smell.
February 15 · Karina RThe food was great. Any choice on the menu is a delicious surprise. Everyone was very nice, curtious, and provided fast but awesome service. The coffee is delicious. Recommend 💯%. Coming back very soon.
