This sushi spot is amazing! The fish is super fresh, and the chef’s rolls are something else , you’ve got to try them! Definitely order the tuna spoons for $14.50. They’re not on the menu, but trust me, they’re worth it. We also tried the Miami roll, and it was fantastic. The dynamite on top was the perfect finishing touch. The service was great. Everything we tried was so delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

This is the most awesome Japanese restaurant in here. The food is raising eyebrows, and the service is great. The fish is fresh - I almost didn't expect this kind of quality for a place far from major metropolitans - but they have it. Totally recommend it for sushi lovers or you're just bypassing the I95 !!

For sushi in the Fredericksburg area, UMI is the place to go! The food is unbelievably fresh and flavorful. We discovered TUNA SPOONS!! A delightful, not on the menu, treasure. We find ourselves craving tuna spoons all the time.The lunch menu is loaded with delicious options at a very reasonable price. We've tried everything on the menu over the years, and you really can't go wrong. Service has been excellent during each visit.It's always a treat to enjoy a meal here.

First time visit on a Saturday night. It was a full house but glad we decided to wait to be seated. As a vegetarian, I was very impressed with the many options to choose from. I had 2 different vegetarian rolls- the Tempura Asparagus and the Special Vegetable. I have never had anything like this and would definitely get these again. My son opted for the Miso soup, Crab Rangoon, Tuna Roll and Pork Shumai. He is very picky and was highly impressed with the quality and taste. We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband’s absolute favorite Japanese restaurant in the area. First they give you miso soup as an appetizer and it’s gooood miso soup. Their sushi rolls are pretty small but according the price (5-8$) so you can try a lot of different types of rolls. I got Philadelphia and Boston roll. Crispy pepper chicken was perfect, juicy and tender. And I especially want to mention the service. Thank you for being to prompt and polite
