Unisushi Reviews
The veggie roll was quite tasty and hit the spot. Also, the portion of seaweed salad they give you is quite large compared to other places—I would say that’s a good thing! They have changed their music to a Lo-Fi vibe. Really great place to have a low key date night.
Dec 01, 2023 · Sola SeasonA Convenient Spot, but Underwhelming Sushi and Subpar ServiceIt's with nice Japanese style decorations. Located in a busy plaza, Unisushi isn’t as crowded during weekdays, likely why they offer a lunch special and weekday happy hour to draw in customers. Their lunch specials feature bento boxes, teriyaki and katsu rice bowls, yakisoba noodles, and sushi lunch sets, along with a choice of miso soup or salad on the side.I tried the Sushi Lunch Special No. B, which included 8 pieces of California rolls and 4 sushi nigiri: tuna, salmon, albacore, and shrimp. Unfortunately, the taste was quite ordinary, reminiscent of chain sushi restaurants. The fish didn’t feel especially fresh, and the texture was just average. The miso soup was very bland, almost as if it had been diluted with water.Additionally, I ordered the Sea Urchin (Uni) Nigiri, which came with two small slices of uni on basic sushi rice. At $19.95, it felt overpriced for the quality and portion, making it hard to justify.Beyond the food, the overall experience was lacking. The men's restroom sink was particularly dirty, which was off-putting. To add to that, the service left much to be desired. The staff was quite impatient, constantly rushing me to place my order and pay the bill, making the dining experience feel more stressful than enjoyable. BTW, they charge extra 3.5% when paying by credit card : (While the location is convenient, the sushi and service need significant improvement.
Oct 15, 2024 · Scott LeeFirst time here, in mid-afternoon. Staff greeted us immediately, got us seated right away. Only 1 bento box option, but lots of choices otherwise, including dinner combos.Ordered shrimp tempura roll and teriyaki salmon dinner. Both very tasty! Enjoyed the salad dressing too!
