While specific, regularly rotating daily "happy hour" promotions for Wabi Sabi are not extensively detailed in the provided customer reviews, their menu structure and general operational practices suggest several ways locals can find value.
Based on general observations for Japanese restaurants of this type in California and the available menu information, here are potential types of promotions or special offers that Wabi Sabi might provide or consider:
Lunch Specials: Wabi Sabi offers specific "Lunch Entrees" and "Lunch Combinations" daily until 3:00 PM. These often include various hibachi-style proteins (Teriyaki Chicken, Hibachi Chicken, Shrimp, Scallop, Steak, Filet Mignon) served with soup or salad, vegetables, and steamed rice (with an option to substitute for chicken fried rice for an additional charge). These lunch options are typically priced more affordably than dinner entrees, providing excellent value for a comprehensive meal.
Combination Dinners & Deluxe Options: Wabi Sabi's "Combination (Dinner)" and "Wabi Sabi Deluxe (Dinner)" menus offer built-in value by bundling multiple proteins and sides (shrimp appetizer, soup, salad, vegetables, and steamed rice) into a single price. These are designed to provide a more complete dining experience at a cohesive cost.
Everyday Value on Quality: Customers consistently highlight "good prices" and "competitive" pricing relative to the large portions and high quality of ingredients. This inherent value proposition means that even without a specific "discount," diners feel they are getting a great deal for their meal.
Online Ordering/Delivery Platform Deals: When ordering through third-party delivery services like Postmates, Uber Eats, or Beyond Menu, customers might occasionally encounter platform-specific promotions. These could include:
- Reduced or $0 Delivery Fees: Often available for subscribers to these services or during general promotional periods by the platforms.
- First-Time User Discounts: New customers to a particular delivery app might receive a percentage off their first order from Wabi Sabi.
- Bundled Deals: Occasionally, these platforms may feature combo deals for specific menu items at a slightly reduced price when ordered together.
Potential for In-House Specials: While not explicitly mentioned in reviews, many local hibachi and sushi restaurants occasionally offer unadvertised daily specials, seasonal rolls, or chef's tasting menus. It's always a good idea for diners to inquire directly with the staff about any current in-house promotions.
For the most current and specific promotions, it is highly recommended that locals contact Wabi Sabi directly by phone or inquire during their visit. Checking their official online menu listings on platforms like Postmates or Beyond Menu might also provide up-to-date information on any deals.

Wabi Sabi Reviews
Still the same great flavors! Wabi Sabi has been a long time favorite hibachi restaurant. There are others in the nearby vicinity with extra long wait times compared to Wabi Sabi. On the evening of Sunday 12/29/24 it was practically empty. The food was fresh and the server was on point with every detail to make our dining experience special (and fast). Parking is free in the adjacent lot. Easy access from foothill blvd and the 210 freeway.

Mar 14, 2022 Β· Dr M BrightThe only reason I gave it one star was because I couldn't give it zero stars. Service was just plain bad. Food was undercooked, drinks were distasteful, the cook was a disaster, waitress was rude, she made you feel like you put her out if you asked for something. We chose this place for my mother-in-law on her 78th birthday. We wanted delicious food and entertainment. We didn't get either one. The cook provided no entertainment whatsoever. No onion volcano, no heart with the rice, nothing. that's the whole purpose for going to a place where they cook at your table entertain you. We were force-charged 18% gratuity, which I believe is ridiculous based on the service we were given. When I complained to the owner our concerns about wanting to have a great birthday for my mother-in-law And the overall poor experience, he stated the cook is like that because he doesn't speak English. Speaking English has no reflection on having a personality. He said next time you come back, "I'll take care of you." I don't know what he means, why not just take care of me right now. Why would I ever want to go back to a place that was so bad. I noticed that there was no one else in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon before Christmas at 4:30. That reflects this business, no one was going to eat there. Make your choice to go somewhere else for dinner, anywhere but here.
Dec 28, 2024 Β· David HartmanI got a to-go order of sushi rolls. I blame myself because Iβm new to the area and didnβt realize until after I ordered that itβs a teppanyaki style restaurant so the sushi was probably not their strong suit. The sushi was so bland and so disappointing! I will never order sushi from here again. Iβm willing to try other things on the menu if I get the chance to go sit and have dinner. The sushi had absolutely no flavor at all and I had to heavily dip it in soy sauce to eat it. I was so disappointed because it was kinda on the pricey end.
Feb 26, 2025 Β· Crystal DIts very quiet and not that many people in there. So it's a good thing if you don't like crowds. But I went there for my birthday just recently for hibachi and they don't do anything entertaining while they cook. But it was still a great time and food!! A lil pricey but it's supposed to be!
