My husband and I stopped by this place since it was right near the Tattered Cover bookstore, and we were getting hungry. We got our food to go. The food here is AMAZING.I got the spring rolls, and I am not joking when I say they were the best spring rolls I've had in my entire life.. by far. I didn't even know I could *love* a spring roll instead of just liking it. I have no idea what made the rolls here so different - the batter, the ingedients, something else - but they were absolutely delicious.I really loved my Royal Potato Roll as well - so delicious, and it has avocado inside and also fresh avocado slices on top. It comes with a roasted beet sauce that I got on the side since I don't always like sauces, but I ended up eating the entire container's-worth that they gave me.My husband got the Love in the Edo roll (with vegan teriyaki beef). He hasn't tried it yet since he's driving, but it looks beautiful. If I'm able to, I'll edit after he eats. [Edit: he did eat the sushi after it sat in a warm car for 5 hours, but he still said it was "pretty darn good" and that he'd get it again.]It's clear the people working here put a lot of care and effort into the food. It wasn't quick to get our food, but the wait was highly worth it. Definitely try this place out if you want a wonderful meal.

Delicious sushi! So many variety rolls we had a hard time deciding. We ended up ordering 4 rolls and loved all of them! The Ohnagi and Tokyo drift rolls were our favorite, but the smoky sake and Ebi tempura rolls were a close second. Update, we ordered a second time because it was that good. This time we chose the Hot Flamingo Roll, the Smoky Sake Roll, Tokyo Drift Roll and Love in the Edo. These 4 rolls are now our favorites. It is great to find vegan sushi that is creative, delicious with great flavors! We will be ordering again.

The place is so underrated for its delicious vegan sushi and ramen! Although all options are vegan, it tastes just like the real deal if not better.I’ve ordered the hot flamingo roll and a bowl of shoyu ramen, the fried onion on top is so good, flavorful and crispy.The staff are all friendly and attentive.The only little detail I’ve noticed that could use some improvement on is the floor is a bit greasy and slippery.

Let’s be realistic here. The name is incredibly deceiving… There is nothing wellness related about this place. It’s in fact, one of the most unhealthy places you can find in Denver. I’ll start by saying the food is tasty until it’s not. Seven out of 10 times you’ll get something good until you eat something that gives you severe stomach nausea. Nearly everything on the menu is highly processed or deep-fried. And as a chef, I can tell you 100% they’re reusing the oil way longer than they should be! And when I say highly processed, I’m talking about fake seafood that’s made out of chemicals. The atmosphere is absolutely horrific. It looks like someone scraped chairs across the entire floor. The entire table was sticky and looked the woman cleaning the tables out in very little effort. The walls are stained with scuff marks and a light brown hue from the excessive amount of use of the deep fryer. The place smells thick and heavy of fried oil so much so that it can make you queasy. The service is always slow painfully slow. And I’ve never met a single person that worked there that’s been charming or charismatic in any way shape or form. It looks like they all hate their jobs. I’m not here to just simply bash this place because you can find something tasty on the menu, but it will not be healthy. But the place needs an overhaul. The exhaust system is terrible and there is no AC. So it’s a thick oily air that can make you queasy. Also it’s certainly overpriced. I’ve been here about a dozen times and after seeing the inside of the restaurant today, I don’t think I would ever eat anything that was cooked in a place so filthy.

Updating my review to lower it from 5, to 3 stars since the last 2 times I’ve picked up take-out, I have waited an extra 30-40 minutes past the time they texted me my food would be ready by. Definitely give them a hour, despite what the text says. I wish they would just give people the accurate expected time rather than have them hang for that long. Also, both times there was no acknowledgement of the delay despite me hanging in the pickup area for 30-40 minutes.LOVE the food and the amount of time they spend on the presentation is crazy, just correct the estimated time system please!********Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, even with it being vegan. I’ve only done takeout and the presentation is consistently good. I only get sushi from here in Denver.
