The personal touch from the Japanese owner, even conversing in Japanese, makes the experience "even more special." This warm hospitality is a consistent highlight.

While these aren't traditional price-off promotions, they act as an incentive by offering unique or highly sought-after dishes. The availability of "premium sake, beer, and shochu" also enhances the dining experience, providing a complete Japanese izakaya feel.

Yakitori 39 Reviews
Been here twice we went back cause we don’t have much good Yakitori options in the town. Food is good overall we had fried calamari and some Yakitoris. But I don’t like how servers hand me over the paying machine at my seat, very uncomfortable to tip as the server was looking at the machine while standing next to us. I wouldn’t mind if the service was good but 2/5 service
Mar 31, 2025 · WOOCHIKAThis spot had been on my ‘want-to-go’ list for years, and we finally went last night. We focused solely on yakitori, skipping sushi and ramen (easily found elsewhere), and paired it with Japanese shouchu on the rocks instead of beer or wine. The yakitori was perfectly prepared, and we were glad to see Japanese chefs using traditional cooking methods, including smoking! Pro tip: don’t order all at once. Order yakitori in batches to enjoy it fresh and at the best temperature.Ordering directly from the Japanese owner in Japanese made the experience even more special. He was so kind! We’ll definitely return and bring more friends next time!
Nov 24, 2024 · Karl KwonVery disappointed. Waiters are very unfamiliar with the menu. A few items were not ordered successfully. Also we had to ask a couple times to have water/drinks served. Food is okay but some dishes are way too salty like sukiyaki pot. We had to pour one glass of water into the soup. Considering we spent $90/person, I won’t come again.
