Yanako Restaurant Reviews
We ordered four dishes today—two were excellent (negimayaki and salmon teriyaki), while the calamari and one of the special rolls were just okay. Still, we love Yanako for its high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes.
April 18 · Tam LieuThe food was wonderful! I have been here many times, and the service is quick, and the food never disappoints. I got the kimono sushi, which was very good. It was sweet and had a tangy eel sauce. If you like udon, I definitely recommend nabeyaka, which has a delicious broth.
November 16 · Stedman DrinkwaterVery cute byob! If you are looking for a small quaint place with good food in manayunk, this is it. I recommend the udon noodle bowls.
February 26 · Ireland AmatoHad a great time here! Byob so make sure to bring your own special wine. Sushi was outstanding. They had a great tuna special for the night we really enjoyed. It was super quiet here for a Sunday night. There was only one other couple the entire time we were there. The edamame was tasty but I wish I had gotten dessert!
October 05 · Michele EdingtonQuite disappointed by the food. The sushis we got were fine in terms of taste, but given the portion (smaller size than usual) and ingredients (fewer than usual for non-basic rolls/sushis), they were overpriced. The pork buns were not very warm — the buns were a tad hard to chew. Only the chicken yakitori was yummy.Otherwise, great service and good ambiance (it was quite loud but it was a Friday evening, so perhaps hard to find a calm place at that time!).
