The sashimi is also noted for being "well made," reinforcing the restaurant's expertise in raw fish preparations. Beyond sushi and sashimi, the menu features other popular dishes, with the "kimchi jeon" (kimchi pancake) being highlighted as "so yummy," demonstrating their proficiency in Korean fare as well. The availability of high-quality fish, such as "Otoro" (fatty tuna), even if "not super fatty" compared to some, is considered "one of the better tuna I can find in NoCo" (Northern Colorado), indicating a commitment to sourcing good ingredients. The restaurant successfully balances traditional Japanese and Korean flavors with a keen eye on presentation and quality, making their diverse menu a key feature.
As for promotional information, YOCOMO Sushi has actively implemented strategies to enhance its value proposition, particularly under new ownership. A key promotional feature noted by customers is the introduction of "new daily specials" and "lunch (1-3) bogo on a few things," which has made the restaurant an "even better deal than the previous ownership." While specific details of every daily special or BOGO item are not listed, the presence of such recurring promotions is a strong draw for value-conscious diners. The existence of a happy hour daily from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM further solidifies its appeal for daytime visitors looking for good deals. Additionally, Sake Night Specials run Thursday to Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, providing an enticing evening promotion for those interested in exploring sake pairings. The pricing is considered "appropriate," suggesting that even outside of specials, the value for the quality received is commendable. The positive reviews themselves, emphasizing the desire to "keep coming back like we used to," act as powerful organic promotion, indicating customer loyalty fostered by consistent quality and attractive deals. The restaurant's ability to offer high-quality food at competitive prices, especially with its enticing specials, serves as its primary marketing strategy, ensuring a steady flow of returning and new customers.

YOCOMO Sushi Reviews
Starting with the lovely warm greeting and staff. Leading into a vast menu that makes us excited to come back to try out everything. Finally the food, things are so well made and beautiful. The sushi is portioned so well on the fish to rice ratio, unlike some other local places. The sushi and sashimi is well made. Also, kimchi jeop so yummy. Prices are appropriate. Would recommend and coming back. Otoro wasn't super fatty but one of the better tuna I can find in NoCo
Apr 13, 2025 · JesseRe-review: Under the new ownership, we saw prices rise but the food stay the same. However, things have corrected a bit and with their new daily specials and lunch (1-3) bogo on a few things, it's now an even better deal than the previous ownership. Food is great, casual atmosphere, and good service. We're going to keep coming back like we used to!
