---
Based on customer feedback, the **environment** of Yoko Teriyaki appears to primarily cater to a take-out model, at least for some periods. One reviewer noted, "Only giving 4's because I wasn't given the option to dine in." This suggests that while there might be some seating, it might not always be available or the primary focus of the establishment. The reviewer's visit an hour before closing on New Year's Eve could also be a factor, as restaurants sometimes shift to take-out only closer to closing or during peak holiday periods. Generally, teriyaki restaurants, especially those in strip mall locations like this address, tend to be casual and functional. The expectation would be a clean and orderly space, optimized for efficient order taking and pick-up, rather than a full-service, elaborate dining room. For many patrons, the convenience of quick service and take-out is a key draw, and the environment would reflect that efficiency.
---
Yoko Teriyaki's **services** appear to be centered around efficient meal preparation and customer pick-up. The primary service is undoubtedly **take-out**, as evidenced by the customer who noted not being given a dine-in option. This model allows customers to enjoy freshly prepared Japanese cuisine in the comfort of their own homes or other preferred locations. The ability to call ahead at (253) 952-3266 to place an order streamlines the process, minimizing wait times. While dine-in availability may be inconsistent or limited, the focus on quick service for take-out orders suggests that the restaurant prioritizes getting hot, fresh food into customers' hands promptly. The emphasis on food tasting "best freshly cooked" also points to their dedication to serving quality dishes, which is a significant service advantage.
---
The **features** of Yoko Teriyaki are predominantly highlighted by its food quality and generous portion sizes. Customers consistently praise the food, with one reviewer stating, "Food was really good, tons of food for the price." This indicates excellent value, a highly desirable trait for any restaurant. Specifically, the **fried rice and yakisoba** were singled out for their impressive portions, described as "enough to share each dish with at least 3 people." This generous sizing is a significant draw, especially for families or groups looking for a substantial meal that can stretch further. The core offerings would include classic teriyaki dishes, likely featuring chicken, beef, or other protein options, typically served with rice and a side salad. Given the positive comments on fried rice and yakisoba, these are also strong menu highlights. A "teriyaki" establishment would typically focus on this cooking style, but often expands to popular Japanese American dishes. The general consensus points to a satisfying and flavorful culinary experience.

The customer reviews offer a balanced perspective on Yoko Teriyaki. The first reviewer provided valuable feedback, acknowledging it as a "Decent place" and stating, "Will give a 2nd chance." The primary concern was the lack of a dine-in option, which impacted the freshness of the food upon consumption after a 15-20 minute drive home. This highlights that while the food is prepared well, the optimal experience is immediately after cooking, which is typical for many freshly prepared dishes. Despite this, the reviewer's willingness to "give a 2nd chance and bring the fam with me next time" indicates that the overall potential or perceived quality is high enough to warrant a return visit, especially with family. This suggests a family-friendly appeal, even if the dine-in experience was limited on that particular occasion.
The second review is overwhelmingly positive: "Food was really good, tons of food for the price. The fried rice and yakisoba was enough to share each dish with at least 3 people. Definitely recommend!!" This glowing recommendation reinforces the value proposition and the deliciousness of specific menu items. The emphasis on "tons of food for the price" is a significant draw for many customers, especially those looking for hearty and satisfying meals. The explicit recommendation to others further solidifies its positive reputation among satisfied patrons. It underscores that for customers prioritizing quantity and flavor, Yoko Teriyaki delivers.
In conclusion, Yoko Teriyaki in Milton, WA, stands out as a Japanese restaurant particularly known for its generous portions and flavorful dishes, with fried rice and yakisoba being notable highlights. While it primarily operates as a take-out establishment, it aims to provide fresh, delicious food at an excellent value. For those in the Milton area seeking a substantial and satisfying Japanese meal that offers great bang for your buck, Yoko Teriyaki is a highly recommended option, providing a convenient and enjoyable dining experience within the local community. Decent place. Will give a 2nd chance. Only giving 4's because I wasn't given the option to dine in. Food tastes it best freshly cooked so I had to drive 15-20min back home before diving in.I will say that I popped in here an hour before closing on new years eve but, I still should have been given an option to eat there. Will give a 2nd chance and bring the fam with me next time as well.

Jan 17, 2025 · N WI've been going to this establishment for nearly 2 years now by a suggestion of one of my family members. The first time I ordered their spicy chicken teriyaki, it was fantastic. It tasted like it came right off my grill. The 2nd time I ordered it, it was OK, but definitely not like the first time. It didn't taste like a came off a grill. More like boiled chicken with a glaze poured over it. The 3rd time was definitely bland, boiled, rubbery chicken with a rather boring take on spicy teriyaki. I recently went back to order food for takeout, and I was beyond disappointed with the quality (or lack of) of their yokosoba with tofu. It tasted like old stale food on the bottom with fresher food on top. The tofu wasn't edible. It was hard and stale tasting. Disgusting! I ended up having to throw most of it the trash. They seem to be spending lots of money on upgrading their store with fancy computers for ordering at each table, big flat screens, and a modernized beverage center. In my opinion, they're getting way too ahead of themselves. They should be focusing on preserving the quality and the consistency of their products over their aesthetics. They lost a few customers today. Time to move on.
Apr 13, 2025 · Steven MichaelThe food is definitely not as good since the new owners. I ordered delivery from their website and it said 12 minutes, 45 minutes later still no food and I called the store and their comment was "well you need to wait" when the driver arrived he apologized for the delay and stated the store is having issues. I keep giving them another chance but I really need to find another teriyaki spot.
