Yokozuna Yale Reviews
We have been here several times now and there is a reason why this place is so popular. The wait staff are great and very attentive to your needs. They have a dining room big enough for individuals or large groups, as well as a private dining area for parties as well. This time we tried the miso soup and it is absolutely amazing with fresh sliced shiitake mushrooms and green onions on top. The star of the show is the sushi, with so many options and variations to choose from. They have traditional, Oklahoma style, Sashimi and Nigiri. They are rolled right there at the station in the dining area. They’re quick, accurate and very fresh with so much to love. They also have a full selection of drinks, both Asian and traditional at the full service bar. This place has stood the test of time and it’ll be here for many more. Give it a try.
January 01 · Andrew FisherI’m a regular at Yokozuna. The food is usually decent. Today I ordered general Tso’s chicken and sweet and sour chicken kid’s meal to go. Very little chicken, no flavor whatsoever. Not edible. Had to eat a microwave meal and it was much better.
February 10 · Carlos GalanThe Volcano roll was excellent and our waiter was very nice. Perfect spot in south Tulsa!
January 23 · Kelly OlivieriI am rating this so low because of the low quality of the to-go containers and how they have effected my food and my experience. Not that I have a problem with eco friendly packaging, but I have lost my food twice now because of it.For ramen, they used to have a cardboard container for noodles and condiments and a paper bowl for soup. That was not ideal because either the noodles stuck to the cardboard and you lost all the noodles stuck to bowl or the cardboard stuck to the noodles and it made it into your soup. Now, they are cramming everything into the small paper soup bowl.Twice now - including my lunch today - that bowl has come apart in and leaked in the 10 minutes it takes me to drive it home after being freshly prepared. The bowl leaked into the paper bag which bottomed out the moment I picked it up.I have to clean up pork broth out of my truck and garage for the second time now. Not to mention the $20 bowl of soup I lost.Managers - you need to do something about this! You are using plastics for most of your to-go products why is it that the most difficult thing to transport with paper is paper only????
March 21 · Corey Leonard'Yokozuna' in definition is the ultimate title for sumo wrestlers and this is the exact atmosphere that you get at this Yokozuna Sushi Restaurant. The ambience is a modern twist on an open Japanese restaurant. This restaurant is very popular and even at open (11am) there were 6 tables waiting for the doors to open. The food is very good! From unique Sushi roll specials, sashimi, pork belly dishes, poke bowls, signature cocktails and so much more - if you like Asian cuisine then you will like Yokozuna.Highly recommend from any occasion!
