Youta Ramen is more than just a place to grab a quick bowl; it's designed to offer an immersive Japanese dining experience. As one passionate customer noted, "The atmosphere is very Japanese. The music, the art on the wall. I love it. Funny enough, even the size of the restaurant is small, just like in Japan." This attention to detail in creating an authentic ambiance, coupled with a focus on traditional flavors, sets Youta Ramen apart. It's a place where you can unwind, enjoy fantastic food, and feel a genuine connection to Japanese culinary traditions right here in Mineola.
Youta Ramen is conveniently located at 58 Old Country Road, Mineola, NY 11501, USA. The location typically offers reasonable parking options in the vicinity, which is a significant convenience in our often-busy New York suburbs. Its accessibility contributes to its status as a popular spot, drawing crowds even on busy nights like Fridays, as observed by a customer.

- Authentic 16-Hour Tonkotsu Broth: Youta Ramen takes immense pride in its signature Tonkotsu ramen, featuring a rich and creamy pork broth that is meticulously simmered for 16 hours. This long cooking process ensures a depth of flavor that is highly praised by connoisseurs, with one reviewer proclaiming it "a 10 out of 10 for flavor" and comparing it favorably to ramen in Japan.
- Diverse Ramen Selection: Beyond the classic Youta Tonkotsu Ramen, the menu offers variations such as Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and Youta Shoyu Ramen (chicken & fish broth). - High Customer Satisfaction: Youta Ramen has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, often highlighted as one of the best ramen restaurants in Nassau County, with many praising the "great food" and "exceptional customer service."
While Youta Ramen's website and readily available public information do not explicitly list ongoing, formalized promotions like daily happy hours or recurring discounts, they consistently provide exceptional value through the quality and authenticity of their offerings. Their pricing, while considered "a little high" by one reviewer, is often seen as justified for the "great food" and authentic experience they provide. It is common for popular local restaurants, especially those with high demand, to focus more on the consistent delivery of quality rather than promotional pricing.
However, it's always a good practice for locals in the New York region to:
- Check Third-Party Delivery Apps: Platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash sometimes offer their own promotions (e.g., discounts for first-time users, or seasonal deals) that apply to participating restaurants, including Youta Ramen.
- Follow Social Media: Local businesses occasionally announce special, limited-time offers or new menu items on their social media channels.
- Inquire Directly: When dining in or calling for takeout, don't hesitate to ask if there are any current specials or seasonal dishes not listed on the main menu.
The consistent rave reviews for dishes like their Tonkotsu Ramen, Tempura, and Fried Chicken often highlight the quality and flavor as the main draw, indicating that the value lies in the premium culinary experience itself.

The dedication to crafting a superior product, particularly their signature 16-hour Tonkotsu broth, ensures a depth of flavor that is rarely matched in the local scene. This commitment to traditional methods, coupled with the meticulous preparation of other dishes like their "delicious" fried chicken and perfectly crisp tempura, elevates the entire dining experience. Even while acknowledging that the "price is a little high," customers consistently find that the quality of the food justifies the cost, which is a key indicator of value for our discerning New York palates.
Beyond the exquisite food, the restaurant’s ability to create an "atmosphere...very Japanese" with its music and art, even in a small space, contributes to a complete cultural immersion. This thoughtful attention to ambiance enhances the dining experience, making it feel less like a local eatery and more like a true culinary escape. In essence, Youta Ramen caters perfectly to the local demand for high-caliber Japanese cuisine that is both authentic and accessible. Its consistent quality, inviting atmosphere, and diverse menu make it a must-visit for anyone in Mineola and beyond looking for a truly satisfying and memorable ramen experience right here on Long Island. Youta Ramen Reviews
A ramen shop that’s been trending on Xiaohongshu — and it’s absolutely packed on Friday nights! Definitely popular. I really like their tempura; the ramen has a nice texture too. The fried chicken is delicious, and the lightly grilled green peppers are also pretty good. But the one thing I have to complain about is the mango ice cream. I really wish I had gone for the matcha instead. For $13, the ice cream shouldn’t come with cheap jelly at the bottom just for the visual appeal. It looks good, sure, but it tastes terrible. And that white cream in the middle! It tastes like straight-up cream cheese. If they had whipped it a bit, it wouldn’t feel like swallowing a big chunk of dry cheese scraping my throat. Please, acknowledge it, and hopefully make some improvements!
Apr 20, 2025 · Grace BianThis is one of the BEST Ramen restaurants in Nassau County. The atmosphere is very japanese. The music, The art on the wall. I love it. Funny enough, even the size of the restaurant is small, just like in Japan. I have been in japan numerous times, and it's a 10 out of 10 for flavor. The price is a little high but I guess that is what you have to pay for great food. I highly recommend this Ramen House.
Feb 02, 2025 · Carlos M TaverasHad an amazing experience at Youta Ramen! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I brought my wife and daughter, and we were pleasantly surprised that they had a special children’s bowl, fork, and chopstick set—such a thoughtful touch! We ordered several dishes from the menu, and each one was unique and full of flavor. This hidden gem is a must-try, and we’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!
Feb 16, 2025 · Tastes SureAtmosphere (5/5): We dined at Youta on a quiet Thursday evening, and we felt like we were transported back to our brief time in Japan.Service (5/5): The hostess was lovely and offered exceptional service. Additionally, anytime staff came by, they were quick to check on us.Food (5++/5):I was particularly impressed by the Japanese Curry Tonkatsu. The tonkatsu was perfectly fried, the batter was delicious, and the pork was tender and juicy. I also appreciated the unique taste of their curry - it was well spiced! This is the kind of quality I seek when I go to Japanese/Japanese themed restaurants.I'm happy to have found a local tonkatsu option, and will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu.
Apr 25, 2025 · Bryan ArmentaThe service and atmosphere was amazing. I love the look of the small restaurant, definitely need to have a reservation. The ramen was good for LI, for sure but not amazing. However, loved the appetizers and parfaits! I liked the matcha while my family preferred the mango.
