I remember when this was Fusion Sushi. We've been coming there for years.The new business owner has made changes to the menu (stay away from the summer sangria). The food is good, but the service is pretty terrible.We waited at least 15 minutes before anyone brought water, and that was only because I asked someone for water.Nobody came around to take our order. I had to wave at someone and ask if someone could take our order.We waited a long time for food to come out, then we had to ask for chopsticks to eat our food.I don't mind waiting if the restaurant is busy. It would just be nice if someone said, "Hey, sorry to keep you waiting. We'll be with you shortly." But to not be acknowledged and to feel like you're begging for service.... It's all frustrating.I wish I could say this was a one-time occurrence. This has happened the last couple of times we've dined in.The worst part of it all, our check was brought out well before we finished our meal. Meaning, someone was happy to get us to pay and push us out, but nobody was around to actually serve and help while we were there.

Fusion Sushi is one of our favorite sushi spots in Los Angeles. The tuna and salmon are always incredibly fresh, and the rice is perfectly cooked, making every bite enjoyable.Surprisingly, the place is never too busy, which I don’t quite understand—but it works out well because the service is always great and quick.They also have a solid selection of beers and drinks, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed sushi night. Definitely worth a visit!

The Baseline: For Sushi the fish needs to be fresh, the presentation must be good, there must be a selection of accompanying offerings, and there are unique offerings.Food: The selection of rolls, sushi, bento boxes, ramen, etc. is wide. The sushi rolls are a good size, reasonably priced, and was flavorful. The starters of tofu and green beans were also well prepared and tasty.Service: Maybe it was because the restaurant is going through a recent rebranding, but service was a little disjointed. The staff was friendly and was quick to deliver food once ordered. My water glass was left empty, but it was enough for the meal.Ambiance: The restaurant is going through a rebranding but it has a good environment to dine.
