aa Sushi Introduce
In the vibrant and ever-evolving culinary scene of Seattle, **aa Sushi** has emerged as a noteworthy destination for lovers of Japanese cuisine. While the platform category "Doctor Near Me" typically refers to healthcare services, it can be conceptually extended to encompass services that contribute to one's overall well-being and satisfaction. In this context, aa Sushi offers a form of "well-being" through its provision of **delicious food, excellent service, and diverse options**, including vegetarian choices, catering to various dietary needs and preferences. Just as one seeks a doctor for specialized care and solutions, patrons can turn to aa Sushi for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience that feels attentive and caters to their desires for quality food.
Located at **5463 Leary Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107, USA**, aa Sushi occupies a space previously held by a favorite local spot, Billy Beach, inheriting some of its familiar ambiance while introducing its own unique approach. The restaurant's phone number, **(206) 453-5036** or **+1 206-453-5036**, provides a direct line for inquiries and potential takeout orders. aa Sushi aims to create a memorable dining experience through its food quality, service, and distinct ordering system.
The dining environment at aa Sushi retains much of the former establishment's layout, meaning patrons familiar with Billy Beach will find a recognizable space. The atmosphere is generally positive, with customers describing it as a **"great spot."** While specific details on decor are not extensively provided, the focus on the "dining area" being "kept mostly the same" suggests a comfortable and established setting. However, a notable change is the **slippery flooring**, which extends "all the way to the restrooms," an aspect that visitors should be aware of. Despite this, the overall feel seems to be conducive to an enjoyable meal, allowing the food and service to take center stage. The environment appears designed for a casual yet satisfying dining experience, maintaining a balance between familiarity and new offerings.
---The service at aa Sushi is consistently highlighted as **"incredible."** Despite a unique ordering system, the staff are evidently attentive and efficient in their roles. The ordering process itself is similar to dim sum, where customers **"fill out a form with what you want to order."** This allows for a streamlined and personalized approach to getting exactly what you desire. While the menu's color-coded pricing for individual items (similar to conveyor belt sushi) can be "annoying" if not perfectly matched with the final bill, the efficiency of order processing and the responsiveness of the service staff seem to compensate for this. The positive feedback on service indicates a proactive and customer-focused approach from the team, ensuring that despite any minor quirks in the ordering system, the overall experience remains highly positive and welcoming.
---aa Sushi offers several distinct features that contribute to its appeal and define the dining experience. One of its most notable features is the **concept of serving smaller rolls**, which customers appreciate as it allows them to **"try more different things"** without overeating. This innovative approach addresses a common dilemma at sushi restaurants where diners often feel "stuck having to decide which rolls to order" due to large portion sizes. While some "other rolls people ordered were very tiny all around, even though they're half sizes," this feature primarily caters to variety and exploration of the menu. Conversely, the **Godzilla roll** is noted as being **"regular sized,"** offering a more substantial option for those seeking a larger portion. This mix of smaller and regular-sized offerings provides flexibility for different appetites.
The **food quality** is a significant highlight, with customers consistently praising dishes as "absolutely amazing." The **miso soup was "delicious,"** and the **rolls were "just wow,"** indicating a high standard of preparation and flavor. A key positive feature is the availability of **"good vegetarian options,"** making it an inclusive dining destination for a broader range of dietary preferences. This commitment to catering to vegetarians adds considerable value and appeal. However, a noted inconsistency is that "Most/all of the sauce was on the plate instead of the roll," which can lead to a less ideal initial bite if not corrected by the diner.
Another important feature relates to the **menu's pricing structure**. While the concept is to "match the colors to the prices," a customer noted that "the prices don't even match" on the itemized receipt, with the "king salmon nigiri is almost $1 more than what the menu marked." This inconsistency in pricing is an area identified for improvement, as it can cause frustration. Despite these minor discrepancies, the overall quality and variety of the food, combined with the innovative portioning concept, make aa Sushi a compelling choice for sushi enthusiasts.
---aa Sushi's most compelling promotional information comes directly from the enthusiastic customer reviews, particularly phrases like "Absolutely amazing!", "Loved everything we had," and "Such a great spot with amazing food." The strong positive feedback on the **"delicious" miso soup** and **"wow" rolls** should be central to any marketing efforts. The "incredible" service is also a significant asset to highlight, ensuring potential customers that they will be well cared for.
A key promotional strategy should focus on the restaurant's unique selling proposition: the **concept of smaller rolls that allow diners to "try more different things."** This appeals to adventurous eaters and those who enjoy variety. Emphasizing the availability of **"good vegetarian options"** broadens its appeal to a wider demographic. For instance, showcasing a visually appealing platter of various small rolls, including vegetarian ones, could be very effective.
While the pricing discrepancy issue was noted, addressing this transparently or confirming menu updates would enhance trust. Until then, promoting the overall value derived from the quality and variety, rather than just the price per piece, would be prudent. Leveraging testimonials about the "amazing food" and the desire to "Definitely coming back" would encourage new patrons. Utilizing social media to showcase their diverse roll selection and highlight the friendly service would also be beneficial in attracting local users in Seattle.

Apr 29, 2025 · Tabatha MorenoBilly Beach used to be one of my favorite sushi spots before COVID, so I was curious about this place that replaced it. AA sushi kept most of the dining area the same. It seems like they changed the flooring because I don't remember it being so slippery, even all the way to the restrooms. Ordering is similar to dim sum where you fill out a form with what you want to order. The menu is kind of like conveyor belt sushi where you have to match the colors to the prices. That was annoying having to do because later on when I got my itemized receipt, I realized the prices don't even match. The king salmon nigiri is almost $1 more than what the menu marked. Who knows what else is wrong on the menu, so they need to update their menus.I like this concept of serving smaller rolls, so I can try more different things. At other sushi spots, I usually get stuck having to decide which rolls to order, so I don't overeat, even though I want so many. I noticed some other rolls people ordered were very tiny all around, even though they're half sizes. The Godzilla roll I ordered was regular sized. Most/all of the sauce was on the plate instead of the roll, so I forgot to sauce my first bite.
May 18, 2025 · Tiffany OhThis is my new favorite sushi place in Seattle. Outstanding sushi. Friendly and attentive service. Great value.I am blown away by how good the food is and how affordable the prices are. It’s priced like kaiten sushi but made fresh to order. The seared garlic shrimp and seared salmon toro were especially tasty. Scallop nigiri, salmon toro and Atlantic salmon, hamachi… all amazing (I’m getting hungry just writing this). Also their seaweed salad struck me as unusually good. The sashimi platter is a screaming deal at 19.99.Because it’s a former conveyor belt place, the rolls are in convenient 4-piece size, which means you can get more variety in your meal. Love it.I’m so excited to have this place in Ballard. It’s so good it should be named triple a.

Mar 15, 2025 · Yoonseo NamDelicious nigiri options. Our favorite was the seared salmon nigiri - totally melts in your mouth. Fish tasted fresh and high quality, especially for the price. Staff was so kind. They were very busy (rightfully so). They’re leveling up their staff right now, so be patient with them
