Akira Ramen Reviews
The food was excellent, the waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was calm and transmitted calm. We ordered the California roll and the lobster roll, it was exquisite. I really recommend this place and this dish. We also ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, the flavor was very rich, but the Vegetable Ramen was undoubtedly much more excellent.
Apr 23, 2025 · Katherine VillanuevaGot food from here yesterday. Placed order on the phone and picked up. Took food to 7/11 microwaved the top half for a minute and 30 seconds. Food was cool but immediately got sour stomach (smelly burp, almost positive it was the egg.)A few hours pass I’m vomiting and running to the bathroom all night until currently I didn’t even get any sleep. I 100% have food poisoning.Food was okay not crazy over it but I wouldn’t repeat as I’m currently sick as I write this review.
May 28, 2025 · Dre SozeMy go-to ramen and sushi place in the DMV. They have a big selection of sushi and their ramen is so good. The karaage chicken ramen is one of my favorites. I’m always able to get a table and service is great too.
May 02, 2025 · Marlissa CalderonI enjoyed this ramen but wasn’t blown away. The noodles had a great texture and consistency but the broth and chashu in both bowls were only lukewarm. The pork miso broth in my partner’s bowl was also missing some depth and richness that I would have expected. Pricing was also quite expensive at $18 for the volcano ramen, but they’re running a promo to buy one bowl get the second bowl 50% off some days of the week — check their Instagram for details. Service was friendly and attentive.
Jan 17, 2025 · Liam BI have eaten in other Akira and I have never had that coal that came out in my soup and also in my wife. I think they did this on purpose, it feels like the coal on the shores of the kitchen, the residues of the things they cook.
