When considering a restaurant, especially within a platform category like “Doctor Near Me” – which, in this context, implies a local service provider you might seek out for immediate needs or recommendations, much like one would a medical professional for a specific issue – it’s important to provide a thorough introduction to help local users make informed decisions. While “Doctor Near Me” is an unusual category for a restaurant, interpreting it as a search for a convenient, local establishment providing a specific type of service (food), this introduction will delve into Apple Teriyaki’s environment, services, features, and available promotional information, based on publicly available reviews.
The overall environment of Apple Teriyaki, as gleaned from customer reviews, presents a mixed picture. While one review describes an unsettling and uncomfortable atmosphere due to a negative staff interaction, leading to the customer leaving without their paid meal, other reviews focus primarily on the food quality. This suggests that the physical ambiance itself might be secondary to the perceived customer service and culinary experience. The fact that customers choose to dine here, and some return, indicates that for many, the environment, at least in terms of its physical setup, is functional for a casual dining experience. It's important to note that specific details about decor, seating arrangements, or general cleanliness are not extensively highlighted in the provided reviews, implying a focus on the transactional and culinary aspects rather than an emphasis on a luxurious or particularly unique dining space. Therefore, customers should anticipate a relatively straightforward and perhaps no-frills dining environment, with the atmosphere heavily influenced by the nature of interactions with staff.
Apple Teriyaki offers typical services expected of a casual Japanese restaurant, primarily focusing on takeout and dine-in options. The process involves placing an order and paying at the counter, suggesting a counter-service model. The restaurant provides prepared meals, with a significant emphasis on teriyaki dishes. Based on the reviews, customers can order items like chicken teriyaki and spicy chicken. The service speed, while not explicitly detailed, appears to be efficient enough for customers to place orders and receive their food, or in one unfortunate instance, decide to leave before receiving it. The interaction with staff forms a crucial part of the service experience. One reviewer lauded the owner's past experience as a chef at "I Love Sushi," which could imply a level of culinary expertise influencing the food preparation and overall service quality. While some customer service interactions have been highlighted as extremely negative, others suggest that staff "work hard all day," urging patrons to be understanding. This indicates a variance in service perception, ranging from highly positive regarding food preparation to significantly negative concerning interpersonal interactions.
Apple Teriyaki boasts several key features that draw customers. Foremost among these are the **generous portion sizes**. Multiple reviews emphatically highlight that the portions are "huge" and provide excellent value. For instance, the chicken teriyaki with brown rice is noted as costing $10.99 with a substantial serving size, a feature that stands out in today's economic climate where food prices are increasing. Customers frequently mention that one meal can often be split into two, providing excellent value for money. This affordability combined with large portions is a significant selling point, especially for individuals or families seeking satisfying meals without breaking the bank.
Another prominent feature is the **quality and authenticity of the food**. The chicken teriyaki is described as "phenomenal," with the chicken "grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of sauce." The spicy chicken also receives praise for its "good flavor." The owner's background as a chef at "I Love Sushi" is cited as a reason for the "authentic" taste of the food, suggesting a culinary lineage that brings credibility to their offerings. This focus on authentic flavor profiles and expertly prepared dishes, particularly teriyaki, makes it a go-to spot for those with discerning palates for Japanese cuisine.
The restaurant's **local presence** is also a key feature. As a small business, it aligns with the desire of many consumers to "support local businesses," especially during challenging economic times. This community-oriented aspect resonates with patrons who wish to contribute to the vitality of their local economy. The idea of Apple Teriyaki being a local establishment that customers "love to support" fosters a sense of community and loyalty among a segment of its clientele.
While the provided reviews do not detail specific promotional offers, the restaurant's core features act as inherent promotional elements. The most significant "promotion" is the **value proposition** itself: large portions at reasonable prices. The $10.99 chicken teriyaki, which can essentially serve as two meals, is a compelling offer in itself, attracting budget-conscious diners and those seeking maximum value for their money. This consistent theme of affordability combined with generous servings serves as an ongoing, implicit promotion. The positive word-of-mouth regarding the quality and authenticity of the food also functions as a powerful form of organic promotion. When customers highly recommend the food, stating it's "10/10 highly recommend," this testimonial acts as a strong endorsement, encouraging new patrons to try the restaurant. The focus on supporting local businesses also positions Apple Teriyaki as a community asset, which is a form of soft promotion that appeals to patrons' desire to contribute to their local economy. Given the strong emphasis on value and quality in the reviews, these aspects are undoubtedly the primary drivers for attracting and retaining customers, rather than explicit discount campaigns.
In summary, Apple Teriyaki in Redmond presents itself as a local Japanese restaurant primarily known for its substantial and affordably priced teriyaki dishes. While customer experiences regarding service interactions vary, the consistent praise for the food quality and portion sizes makes it a notable option for those seeking authentic and satisfying Japanese meals in the area, aligning with the idea of a valuable local "find" within the "Doctor Near Me" conceptual framework for local service providers.

Apple Teriyaki Reviews
We were genuinely looking forward to supporting this local establishment, but unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. After placing and paying for our order, the interaction we had with the staff—particularly the individual at the counter—was shockingly hostile. We were yelled at and treated with open disrespect, without provocation or explanation. The environment became so uncomfortable and unsettling that we made the difficult decision to walk away—leaving behind the meal we had already paid for—because no food is worth enduring that level of mistreatment. This review isn’t written lightly. We believe in giving businesses the benefit of the doubt, and we rarely post negative feedback. But the repeated pattern of similar experiences in other reviews suggests this is not an isolated incident, but a systemic issue with how customers are treated. We strongly urge others to consider whether their time, money, and energy should go toward a place that seems to have little regard for the very people who keep it in business. Respect and decency should be baseline, not a luxury.
May 24, 2025 · Mile IguanaThe chicken teriyaki with brown rice is phenomenal here. I am very picky when it comes to teriyaki, since we have so many spots to choose from in the Seattle area but so hard to find a good one with reasonable price & portion! See my photo, portion is huge with $10.99. Are you kidding these days? Everything is already gone up so much! The chicken is grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of sauce. I also ordered spicy chicken for my wife. It has good flavor & we love it!The portions are huge, I usually eat half and save half for home, which will be another full meal at a later time. Great prices too. I hope they stick around these small businesses r struggling and we love to support local businesses. I ended up spoke with the owner, he used to work at I love sushi as chef! No wonder why foods taste authentic! I read about other reviews about service. Come on give them a break, they do really work hard all day. Do the honest review. Foods are amazing here. We will definitely come back this weekend again.10/10 highly recommend !
Apr 24, 2024 · Aiden LeeI was impressed by how rude the woman who served us was and I decided to leave. Before I could order she was already yelling at me. Personally, I have been to many places to eat and this is a place I do not recommend. And if they do not offer good service, I do not want to imagine what they will do with the food.
Jan 06, 2025 · Luis E CorreaThe food is awful, especially considering there's so many other good restaurants nearby. The worst part is by far the lady behind the counter (likely the owner). She is rude and unkind. I'll certainly never visit again for the food, I recommend against it highly.
Mar 27, 2025 · Sean SpencerGreat spot for quick and delicious teriyaki. The chicken teriyaki is so good, you can taste the char from the grill, and the egg rolls are great too.
