Arashi Ramen Introduce
For those in Seattle seeking a comforting and authentic Japanese culinary experience, particularly within the "Doctor Near Me" platform category which might be utilized for local services including dining recommendations for quick and satisfying meals, Arashi Ramen stands out as a noteworthy destination. Located at 5401 20th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107, this izakaya-style restaurant offers a diverse menu centered around expertly crafted ramen and other Japanese delights. You can reach them at (206) 492-7933 or +1 206-492-7933.
Arashi Ramen prides itself on its flavorful broths, with a particular highlight being their signature Tonkotsu (pork bone) soup. This rich, cloudy broth is simmered for over 16 hours, a testament to the dedication of master chef Daisuke Ueda and the restaurant's commitment to quality. Beyond the classic Tonkotsu, the menu features a range of ramen options, including Shio (salt-based), Shoyu (soy sauce-based), and the very popular Miso Ramen. For those who enjoy a kick, the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu Ramen and Spicy Tantanmen Ramen are frequently praised by customers for their depth of flavor and satisfying heat. Customers often mention they can customize the spice level, with "level 2" being noted as sufficiently spicy.
The environment at Arashi Ramen is described as casual and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner. While it might be a "hole-in-the-wall" spot with limited seating, including a bar area and small tables, it often provides a welcoming and lively atmosphere. The decor features interesting Japanese posters and eclectic kitsch, contributing to a friendly and laid-back feel. Despite its smaller size, the restaurant is known for its quick service, ensuring that patrons can enjoy their delicious meals without a long wait, even on busier evenings like a Sunday night.
Beyond ramen, Arashi Ramen offers a selection of appetizers and rice bowls that complement their noodle dishes. The Chicken Karaage, Japanese-style fried chicken, is a popular choice, with the Honey Garlic Karaage often singled out for its delicious crispiness and moist interior. While some customers have noted that the regular karaage pieces can be quite small and might not come with sauce, the honey garlic version seems to be a consistent hit. Other appetizers include Gyoza (pan-fried pork and chicken pot stickers), Takoyaki (octopus balls), and Edamame. Rice bowls such as the Chashu Bowl, Honey Garlic Karaage Bowl, and Curry Bowl provide additional satisfying options.
A notable feature of Arashi Ramen is its inclusivity regarding dietary preferences. They offer soy-free, vegan, and limited vegetarian options, demonstrating their effort to cater to a broader range of diners. The Veggie Ramen, with its vegetable broth, tofu, and fresh vegetables, is a testament to this commitment and has received positive feedback. This makes Arashi Ramen a versatile choice for various dietary needs within the community, fitting into the "Doctor Near Me" concept where comprehensive service for all is valuable.
In terms of services, Arashi Ramen provides both takeout and delivery, allowing customers to enjoy their favorite dishes in the comfort of their own homes. They also accept reservations, which can be particularly useful given their limited seating. The restaurant is kid-friendly and offers outdoor seating, including heated and covered areas, which can be a pleasant option during Seattle's varying weather. Furthermore, Arashi Ramen demonstrates a commitment to sustainability by using compostable containers and reusable tableware, appealing to eco-conscious diners. The availability of happy hour specials adds another incentive for visitors. The establishment also provides modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, TVs, and gender-neutral restrooms, and even accepts cryptocurrency for payment, showcasing a forward-thinking approach.
Customer reviews consistently highlight the deliciousness of the ramen, particularly the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu and Spicy Tantanmen. The speed of service is also frequently praised, making it a good option for those looking for a quick and satisfying meal. While there have been some mixed reviews regarding the chicken karaage portions or consistency, and occasional feedback on broth saltiness or chashu texture, the overall sentiment points to Arashi Ramen as a strong contender in Seattle's ramen scene. Many consider it among their top choices for ramen in the city, valuing the consistent quality of the broth and noodles. Promotional information beyond the existing menu items and regular services is not explicitly detailed in the provided information, but the sheer popularity of their "Very Popular" menu items like the Spicy Miso Ramen and Black Garlic Ramen serves as a strong implicit promotion.

Arashi Ramen Reviews
Not too busy on a Sunday night, they have very limited seating, half of which is at a bar. The chicken karaage was good but it doesn’t come with sauce and the pieces were quite small. I really liked the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen! I got a level 2 and it was sufficiently spicy :) food came out pretty fast as well.
Mar 24, 2025 · Lucy SayedTried the Spicy Tantanmen Ramen and Honey garlic karaage. Both items were delicious. If you are a fan of creamy ramen, get this one else go for the spicy miso ramen, that's great as well.
Mar 08, 2025 · Jefferson DiasGotta take my word for it, da bomb.com! Very casual atmosphere, delicious food. We ordered the honey garlic karaage bowl, arashi ramen, & gyoza and all exceeded my expectations. I wish I took a photo before we started eating but we did take an after. (:
Mar 08, 2025 · Mckenzee YoungWe came in for a late lunch on a weekend and found the place only half full, which was a relief because their seating is quite limited.Between the two of us we ordered the honey garlic karaage and the vegetarian ramen with a seasoned egg and chili sauce (the latter two are extras).Overall, the food was really quite delicious. The karaage is especially really well done and flavorful. The veg ramen was nice too, however I wasn’t a fan of the seasoned egg or the tofu. The broth is quite creamy and the additional chili sauce adds a nice flavor too - I would recommend ordering in to be premixed into the broth because it’s quite awkward to mix if you order it on the side.Service is warm and pretty quick too!
Apr 08, 2025 · Pooja ChaudharyWe got the miso tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso tonkotsu and karaage. They were all very good! I liked the regular miso better than the spicy one.
