Benihana Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Benihana for a 44th birthday party! When the waiter came to the table, I ordered soup and salad. When it was time to place my order, I ordered the chicken fried rice with the steak and chicken. The prices have changed since I last went there 5 years ago, so make sure that you check the prices beforehand! You can expect to pay $40 to $75 per person! The kids' meals start at $20+. I had a great time overall. The chef was female and she was amazing! She was very animated, personable and made the experience an excellent one! She was also very funny and she took pride in making sure that everything was cooked to perfection! Thank you!
May 11, 2025 · Erica RiThe service was great and the food was good. Some appetizers were not heated thru but did taste good. The Teriyaki sauce is the best tasting. The soy was too salty.
Apr 17, 2025 · Ron “Medicare Ron” RiversI have to say. I've been here a few times and it's the typical chain hibachi place. I'll leave it there because l've had some good experiences and some not so good experiences. I think it's a luck of the draw depending on who is serving you/ preparing your meal.
Jan 11, 2025 · Inquiring MindI hadn't been to Benihana for at least 25 years and thought it would be nice to bring my kids, as we all love Hibachi. We had a reservation so it did not take long to be seated. Once seated it took an extremely long time for anyone to take our order, and the restaurant was extremely loud. Once greeted I was a bit disappointed to find that you only get noodles or rice, not both, as is customary at our local Hibachi restaurants. Our soup and salad arrived and not a server was to be found for the next 30 minutes. I saw lots of employees and a manager walking around, but nobody stopped at our table. The soup was extremely bland and after multiple attempts to try to ask someone for soy sauce, I got up and walked around for 10 minutes trying to locate our waitress. By the time we were able to get soy sauce the soup was already cold. Our chef was very nice and put on a nice show, however the lack if service, length of waiting, not all meals coming with dessert, just isn't enough for us to want to go back.
Nov 17, 2024 · Jaime YoungI went to Benihana's in Edison 2x in the last 2 wks. Once for a birthday lunch & dinner. Food is always fresh & delicious. Didn't like that the dinner didn't come with fried vegetable rice but it came with lunch. $7 extra. I had the filet mignon & chicken hibachi. The guy does a nice lil fire show. Dinner cost us over $100 for 2 ppl w/o drinks or an appetizer.
