Chaplin's Restaurant

1501 9th St NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

4.0
Stopped in for early dinner after long day at conference. Was seated immediately on patio, that is very nice. Happy hour pricing on drinks, not food. Not sure if they have happy hour pricing on food for bar seating. Was set on the Payday dumplings based on reviews I had seen and because it looked so unique. Took recommendation of server and ordered the A.S.S. Maze with bok choy and corn.Payday dumplings were very interesting, especially with the table side injection of sauce. Flavor was good. The A.S.S. Maze was one of the best noodle dishes I have had. Rich broth with just the right heat and chicken was super tender. Would highly recommend! - Kenneth Wolfer
