Omg!! this was one of the best japonese restaurants I’ve ever been to, starting by their huge selection on their menu, they got tons of sushi options, sashimi, ramen and even bento box! I tried all of it and it was delicious! the service was really on point they were so kind even the way they packed the food to go was so neat! Really loved this place stop by lunch time they got incredible deals!

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was 10/10. They are all so sweet and ensure the experience is so amazing, like they were picking up my garbage in between meals, answered questions, and seated me at a table because I wanted to instead of the sushi bar like some places try to make you if you’re alone. I HIGHLY recommend.

A decent spot in the neighborhood for a quick and casual meal when you’re not in the mood for anything fancy. The food is nothing exceptional but does the job. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is friendly, with waiters who are attentive and welcoming. Dai Haichi is an absolute gem in Long Island City. The quality of the sushi here is consistently above average, bordering on excellent, but what really sets this place apart is the incredible value for the price, especially given the location.I always order either the sushi or sashimi entree, and they never disappoint. The fish is fresh, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. One of my go-tos is also the tempura dinner, which I usually get as a side or appetizer. It still blows my mind that it’s under $20 for seven pieces of shrimp tempura plus a bowl of rice. Talk about bang for your buck!In a city where quality sushi often comes with a hefty price tag, Dai Haichi is a rare find—affordable, reliable, and truly satisfying. A real neighborhood treasure.

The price is low, but the taste is not good. Price equivalent or less. The service was not very good either. As for Shangri-La, there was not much fruit and I didn't enjoy it at all, probably because they used vodka instead of splitting it with wine!
