Based on typical practices for respected, long-standing Japanese restaurants, potential "offers" might come in the form of:
- Lunch Specials: Many sushi bistros offer more affordable lunch sets or bento box options during weekday lunch hours. The provided menu information does show "Lunch" hours from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, suggesting dedicated lunch offerings might be in place.
- Chef's Specials: Given that the owner, Hiro, personally selects and prepares fish daily, there might be unadvertised "Chef's Specials" or "Omakase" (chef's choice) options that highlight the freshest ingredients available on a given day. These would be more about a unique culinary experience than a price promotion.
- Holiday or Event-Based Offerings: Like many restaurants, Daikichi might have special menus or limited-time offerings during holidays or for specific local events, which could represent a unique value proposition.

Apr 17, 2025 · Attom OshimaDaikichi has been the most consistently excellent sushi spot for over 20 years. Hiro, the owner, personally selects and prepares fish daily. Apr 30, 2025 · John WhiteI recently visited this Japanese restaurant and tried their lunch special, which included shrimp and veggie tempura along with katsu. The miso soup was definitely a highlight! Rich and flavorful! However, the side veggies were a bit bland, and while the tempura roll sushi was decent, it didn't quite stand out. Overall, it was a solid experience, earning a 4-star rating for the good miso soup and the satisfying katsu and tempura. Would recommend for a casual lunch!
Sep 07, 2024 · Jacqueline MenesesCan't really comment on the food as we walked out after standing there for a few minutes waiting to be acknowledged. It was a Friday night and there was only one other table in the restaurant -strange for a weekend. The woman (Staff) didn't make the effort to look up from her register/computer to welcome us or acknowledge our presence, so after a couple minutes we decided to walk out and try another restaurant. Very odd since this place receives a lot of positive comments. I guess the sushi is better than the service.
Jan 04, 2025 · DC LloydFelt like eating sashimi and decided to stop by Daikichi, since I was right in thr area. The server was very nice and helped me pick the dinner option and desert. Went with the sushi/sashimi dinner and green tea ice-cream crepe. I think the crepe is a meal itself!! Enjoyed the food.
