Dashiwa Ramen Reviews
One of the best lunch spots in Arcadia when craving ramen! Their ramens are great in size and flavor! Loved their broth and it’s rich and chashu were delicious! Perfect lunch spot and services were great!
May 27 · Feng WuWe stopped here since we are staying in the area. I had the Spicy Tonkatsu and my husband had the Spicy Miso. I went with their highest level of spice and did not think it was too spicy. My husband went medium and was happy too. Both dishes were very tasty and the pork was cooked well. Service was great too!We would visit again.
May 02 · Jenny JimenezI've been meaning to try them for quite some time, and finally got around to doing so.Overall, I was quite pleased. Was warmly welcomed to a nice air conditioned place on a 99F (38C) day, ans was served water quickly which was quite welcomed. Ordered food and then took in the ambiance. Two tvs playing a sizzle reel of their offerings, another playing news, and then one more which was playing Howl's Moving Castle. The east wall was decorated with One Piece figurines, some drinks they offer, and wooden tiles with various things like "Noodes," "Ramen," and "Curry" on them. More modernized than other Ramen places I've been to in the past. This is neither a good or bad critique. Just noting what I saw.The food came with maybe 10 minutes of ordering. There was Tonkotsu Original, Tonkotsu Black, an order of Pork Buns, and a mini bowl of Veggie Curry. The curry sauce was warm, but not hot. I almost want to say it was prepped first and it cooled a bit while the Ramen was finishing up. The sauce reminded me of a jarred curry. It was fine overall. I didn't dislike it, but I also didn't love it. It's why my food rating is at 4.The pork buns were delicious. Everything was well proportioned and balanced for even flavors. The pink sauce underneath the top layer of pork was super good, and I wanted more of it drizzled on top, but it would have messed up the overall balance. The tonkotsu ramens were also quite delicious. The black bowl having black garlic oil added in, and for the same price, was particularly tasty. The egg yolk was the runniest I've seen at a ramen place, and I do not like runny yolks. I always scoop them out and just eat the whites since nobody ever offers hardboiled. The woodear mushrooms are sliced enough that I couldn't necessarily tell they were mushrooms when eaten in a spoonful of noodles, onion, egg, and broth. I'm not a fan of mushrooms and forgot to exclude them. So, it's a huge plus for me that it worked out well. The chashu pieces were excellent. The slices were a little bit thinner than most other places I've gone to, but still excellent flavor.
May 10 · A CThe atmosphere is friendly and the food is delicious! Well priced and full of flavor! I got the Tonkotsu Red Medium spice level, and it was well seasoned. This is a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition. I ate the ramen so fast that I didn't take a picture.
August 30 · On Fire For TruthI recently ate at Dashiwa Ramen and had a fantastic experience. The udon curry was exceptionally good, with perfectly cooked noodles and rich, flavorful curry sauce. The service was outstanding, especially from a blonde-haired lady who helped clean up when my baby cousin spilled water. Her kindness made our visit special.I highly recommend Dashiwa Ramen for its delicious food and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!
