DokoDemo Reviews
The soy sauce based yakisoba with tofu tastes SUPER good. I got hot, and the spice was a good kick without overpowering other flavors (front of mouth, non lingering burn). Keep in mind that I'm a spice lover.I'd highly recommend this place!! Freshly cooked, great service, cute restaurant, and an incredible chef!I just read the chef's story as now I'm heading back for more - To the chef, I'm grateful for your sacrifice and hard work to put this yummy food on my plate!Especially as a vegetarian, there are rarely options, but DokoDemo has a couple flavorful vegetarian choices. :)
April 17 · Abby ToAmazing fried Chicken. Soft and crunchy (rice puff) on the outside with every bite. Clean ingredients. They definitely used new oil.Yuzu lemonade 🍋. Nothing beats it.Pork Okonomi-yaki is just soft while cabbage is crunchy. Fresh ingredient once again. Feeling light yet full at the end. Must try
April 06 · Ana N.Overall just ate a light meal here. Had high hopes because I love Japanese food and tik tok told me this is authentic versionIt wasn’t bad. Just didn’t blow me away. I think I would go back and try other things. Most of it is classic street food not much health consciousness - which is totally fine to be honestIt’s not a no for me but also not running back today
May 20 · Jack TuggleI came in about 25 minutes to closing and they treated me like I was the first customer of the day! I haven’t been to this spot in many years and saw the revamped menu on social media. So I decided to go back. I am glad I did. The new Hiroshima-yaki was just what I needed. Large portion, filled with pork belly, noodles, delicious veggies and wrapped up in a nice fluffy pancake. Which is then smothered in savory sauces, crispy bits and bonito flakes. Super satisfied.
February 11 · Chet RoyerHiroshima style okonomiyaki.... THE BEST 🤤 hard to find in Manhattan. My favorite food and they did it perfectly 🥰 Yes there are noodles in the picture, they have folded it a little like omelet 😄 they will warm up sake if you ask 😉
