Erotori Reviews
Hands down better than almost all NYC yakitori. 💯Recommendations:- Chicken Oyster 😳- Chicken Wings 😩General Comments:- Although it takes a while, it's clear that the time is used to deliver quality. 😌- Perfectly cooked skewers with smokey flavor. 🔥- I was afraid the chicken might be raw because the skewers are thick, but no, they were thoroughly cooked AND juicy.- The mushroom and chicken thigh skewers were also great but the other two I recommended were even better.
May 13, 2025 · Justin KooAmazingly juicy chicken, the chicken oyster (hip) are a must-try, with a crispy skin on the outside with the yuzu paste!! The chicken breast was surprisingly juicy as well, and goes well with the dab of Wasabi on top!
Nov 23, 2024 · Jennifer ChenThis is easily some of the best food I’ve had in the whole NYC area and definitely the best yakitori I’ve ever had. Each skewer was uniquely seasoned and delicious. Getting food here and sitting by the water to eat it is a perfect experience. Also the Hey Yogurt is right next to it, so it’s easy to get a yummy drink/dessert with the meal! Erotori does also offer a mochi dessert I’ll be sure to try next time
Oct 23, 2024 · CJ SampleJustin, who grills and sauces your skewered meat as you watch at this unassuming al fresco food cart in downtown Hoboken, earned a degree from Johnson and Wales, and worked at Michelin-starred Torishin in Manhattan, so he knows Yakitori. Ask for “chicken thigh” and you can expect several distinct, skillfully butchered cuts, possibly including the especially juicy “oyster” and filleted inner thigh, neatly arrayed and, as it turned out, juicy and delicious.
Apr 03, 2025 · James HamiltonI was lucky enough to find Justin's cart one day when I was looking for food in Hoboken. I read the reviews and gave it a shot. Now I can't stop going back. The chicken is amazingly flavorful and tender every time. I'd never had a chicken oyster before but its now a staple every time I come back. Justin's also a really cool and personable dude. I hope he stays for awhile, its highly recommended.
