Evil Katsu Reviews
Enjoyed the curry pork katsu bowl! The curry was perfectly savory and the katsu had the right crisp. It could have a been a little more tender/juicy. Location is small but I came when the weather was great and I was able to sit by the window and look outside while I ate my meal- was a plus for the ambiance.
Mar 22, 2025 · Naile RuizI can definitely see how the name Evil Katsu came to be - the food is wickedly delicious!Highly recommend! Enjoying a bowl of chicken katsu curry near the open window instantly transported me back home - such a comforting place with truly amazing food. The guy at the front was incredibly pleasant and hospitable. After hearing how far we traveled, he generously gave us a discount and some free desserts (the Lime Umeboshi Blondies are a 10/10)- such a kind gesture! He was an absolute gem and deserves all the best. The chicken katsu curry bowl was a 10/10 — chef’s kiss! The chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned, and the curry had just the right amount of depth and savory richness. So, so good! We’ll definitely be back - totally worth the trip!
May 16, 2025 · Rasheeda PottsAbsolutely delicious, not too spicy curry but super super flavorful. Everything has a slight kick to it, but nothing feels overwhelming. Beautifully done and it’s a cool spot. Should be 10x more busy than it is. 9.5/10
Feb 15, 2025 · Spencer ShulemThis place has a unique atmosphere, clean and quick service. The food here is hearty & delicious. It's definitely something that fills you up and sticks to the ribs.
Mar 24, 2025 · Sol SolomonI got the pork katsu curry here which was decent but quite expensive for what we got. The curry sauce tasted quite good, and this satisfied the overall craving for Japanese curry. Seating inside is very limited so your best bet is to get the meal to go.
