Unfortunately I'll have to do 1 star...waitress we had was kinda rude from the start...the the chef cooked and food was good. I tipped him on his way out. After we ate our checks came....my bill was $90.50. Now I tipped the cook $10 so I tipped the waitress $10. Mind you there were 12 other people tipping this lady. I gave her 101 so she can have $10 too. (That's over 20% of my bill) well the waitress refused to take my money and told me it was way too small of a tip! So I gave her $2 and she said it again! I explained it paid now $23 tip on a 90 bill she said it doesmt matter she deserved more mind you 4 other families were also tipping her. I told her how rude she was and told the manager. We left. Won't ever go back there!

Money hungry! Customer service is poor. My bf ordered 4 rolls online and added avocado to two rolls. Although their online site says avocado is $1 extra when you add it online, it doesn't calculate it in the total. Weird but ok. Went to pick it up. The guy at the front desk says "$2 more". Fine. I go to my car and get a $20. I hand it to the guy. He gives me $17.85 back. I said, "Didn't you say it was $2?" He said, "Yes plus tax". What?????? It's 15 cent but its the principle. I planned on paying nothing. I was just picking the food up. How about you fix your website instead of trying to nickel and dime people?? Don't tell me one price then charge what you want. The rolls are already overpriced. The best sushi is Red Corner in Waterbury. Take the short drive and go there for better service and better tasting and fresh rolls. They don't have to worry about my money because I won't be back.

We used to really enjoy Fuji, it had something for everyone in our family. Most recently, the sushi was ok, nothing special, but the fried rice and general tso chicken tasted like something out of the freezer section of the grocery store. Not crispy, somewhat slimy, and overly sweet. Won't be returning.

I had the fried oysters with spicy Kani sushi appetizer, loved it! Deb had the Pork Gyoza, better known as pork fried dumplings, they were wonderful, love the dipping stuff. I had the combo hibachi chicken and lobster tail. Everything was perfect, hot and sweet Sriracha sauce made everything better for me. Deb had the General Taso's chicken with white rice, very good, huge chicken pieces. The vegetable stir fry was very good.. The fried rice and soup were awesome. The iceberg salad with that wonderful ginger dressing is so yummy. Great attentive service and the atmosphere rocked. I totally recommend!

Definitely a pleasant and nice Asian fusion restaurant. They have an enormous drink selection. I would recommend the Summer Mule and the Moscow Mule. Strong and delicious.There is a straight line 10 seat bar and about four booths also in the bar area. I would come back for happy hour any day!The hibachi looked delightful and the atmosphere is well done.They should upgrade their outdoor sign and menu as they seem a little faded.But this place is worth experiencing if ever in Torrington/New Hartford area.
