Go Go Curry Cambridge Introduce
For those in Massachusetts seeking a quick, satisfying, and uniquely flavorful meal, Japanese curry offers a delightful departure from typical fast-food options. Unlike the spicier, more aromatic curries found in other Asian cuisines, Japanese curry is known for its rich, savory, and slightly sweet profile, often served generously over rice with a choice of crispy, deep-fried cutlets. In the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Go Go Curry Cambridge has become a popular destination for locals looking to experience this beloved Japanese comfort food without a long wait.
Go Go Curry is part of a renowned Japanese chain that has brought its distinctive Kanazawa-style curry to the United States. This particular style is characterized by its dark, thick, and intensely flavorful sauce, which is slow-cooked for hours to achieve its signature depth. At Go Go Curry Cambridge, the star of the show is often their crispy katsu (panko-breaded fried cutlets) – whether chicken, pork, or even tofu – served atop a bed of Japanese premium short-grain rice, accompanied by a side of thinly shredded cabbage, and generously drenched in their signature curry sauce. The convenience of its setup, being located within the bustling H Mart, makes it an ideal spot for a quick and delicious meal for Massachusetts residents on the go, offering a taste of authentic Japanese fast-casual dining.

Go Go Curry Cambridge Reviews
It’s a darker curry (kind of sauce-like?) but the katsu was yummy and crispy and warm and tasty 😋. The pieces were cut more bitesized but they do the job nonetheless. The cabbage was nice (crunchy). Portion sizes may not be accurate to the display case but the medium was filling enough. There is ample seating in the food court. Efficient service🏃. Also you order at a single kiosk for both ramen and curry shops.
Apr 05, 2024 · AllisonIt's one size katsu and rice increases(container)for each size up. Curry tastes like katsu sauce but its tasty. Just get a medium size guys
May 22, 2025 · Liol DenOne of several stalls in the food court of Hmart, Go Go Curry is a quick fix for those craving Japanese style curried rice and panko coated fried goodness. You place an order at the ramen shop to the left, listen as your ticket prints back at the other side, and then take two steps back to wait for your number to be called. Grab your order once called, sit yourself at the endless number of often empty spots at the food court, and dive right in without hesitation. The world is good again as thy Japanese curried rice cravings are fixed. If life was just always this easy…One thing I’ve always found amusing here is their “World Champion Combo”…which I’m sure at one point was a real challenge to complete. But the fried katsus are now close to paper thin and not the thick standard katsu you would receive standard at any other Japanese spot. In essence, the only challenge now is how much rice you can technically put away, which would be relatively easy to do for anyone having grown up in an Asian household - lol. So it really makes me wonder when they say “feeds 4”…(birds?). I was still hungry after one grand slam so ordered another one and finished it. That technically means I finished a world champion combo…which really didn’t take much effort at all.
Dec 08, 2023 · Jireh HuangCrispy katsu paired with delicious curry = happy stomach.Katsu breading is crunchy, flaky, and seasoned well. Shrimp tempura was the same but a bit greasy. The curry had great flavor and a bit of a kick, which perfectly enhances the flavors of all the other elements on the plate. Sausage had the crunch and was super juicy. Slaw was a good break from all the flavors and fried food. The curry dish was a great meal overall.Unlike many of the other reviews, I think this place is pretty solid (I've only been here a couple times as of this review). The prices are pretty good and the meal is satisfying and tasty. I call that a win in my books. The food also comes out relatively quick (depending on the traffic) and the seating area is decently clean.Keep in mind, the Go Go Curry is in Hmart, so it's not necessarily the place you take someone visiting the area. But it definitely is a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner if you're nearby.
Jan 04, 2023 · carolineFor what it is, which is a kiosk-style fast-food joint, it is tasty, if perhaps a tad pricey, but within reason for the specialty foods served.I had the pork katsu with 5 gyoza. I actually really like the cabbage with the curry sauce. The katsu is super crispy and the meat still much and tender. The gyoza were deep-fried and so had crispy bits, but were tender and nicely cooked throughout. Overall, with a Mellon drink, it was a very tasty meal....even tastier with confections from the bakery in the same shared dining area, but that's an entirely other review.VERDICT: What I got was yummy.
