Gyoza Boyz LA

724 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90014, USA

4.0
Stopped in and grabbed a spicy tonkotsu ramen as they were out of bao buns I was hoping for. The broth was solid and had a velvety quality but had the salty kick needed to round it out. Noodles weren't bad, but the star was the chashu. All in all, a good bowl of ramen.Went back for round two the next night, about the same time, no bao buns again. Must be a finite amount, so get there early if you want to try them. I did settle for the takoyaki balls and they were really good. Less cakey than I expected them to be, but savory and slightly sweet. The staff is really nice and helpful. I would for sure go here again. - Shawn Hunter
