March 18 · Jeff KreerMet a great friend here for dinner, we hadn't seen each other in a while. This was his old hangout spot back in the day. We were seated and the table side oven was turned on. A grill is placed, where you place the meat. We decided on the meat lovers and upgraded the sides. The menu has lots of options which can get overwhelming. You choose and then they start bringing you food. Soup, salad, edamame, gyoza and then the meat came 6 plates of different meat, some marinated some not. It was more than enough for two people. The drinks were ok, they had a wide selection. I highly recommend this place, it was reasonably priced and out of the place, but cozy. Will return to take more pictures and video.

Some pieces were thicker than other cuts, but all the meat was super tasty. They probably marinade it. Other protein like Chicken and shrimps were surprisingly good as well.With all the meat came soup, salad, rice and many other dishes, some with meat as well, like the pork gioza.Interacting with the grill was fun for everybody and added an extra fun element to the experience.We exited the resturant beat and super full, there was plenty of food.The staff were super busy and tiered and we could feel that some of them didn't appreciate all of our questions, which we asked since the Staff's English wasn't always good and the place was very noisy, so often we had difficulty hearing their answers.

Before I arrived I was reminded of a 2-hour time limit and a mandatory 20% gratuity for our party of eight via OpenTable.Once seated, we learned our time was cut to 1.5 hours due to fewer guests, which didn't quite add up. The friendly waitress reminded us of happy hour, but the waiter seemed disappointed with our order and mentioned, “So you guys have been here before, right? The portions are pretty small.” Six meat dishes and three appetizers felt sufficient for our group of three.When a friend asked for help with meats sticking to the grill, the waiter curtly referenced a policy against using oil instead of offering solutions such as turning down the flame. There were also no instructions for the vegetable items, which would have been helpful.While a 20% tip is typical, the mandatory gratuity for a smaller group felt unfair. I intended to tip that amount, but the guaranteed charge left me unsatisfied. Overall, clearer communication and a more accommodating approach would improve the experience.
