Hajime Reviews
I came here for dinner with my family and overall we had a great time. All the food we got came out quick, and it was all absolutely amazing. I also saw a lunch menu on the other side, and my jaw dropped at these affordable prices for great quality food. My only concern is the service. I barely saw my waitress, and we had dirty plates sitting on our table for a while. Also, there are oysters on the menu, but the waitress told me they were out. I asked when they would be back in stock, and she says they no longer have them. She said it’s on the menu because it costs the business $8,000-$10,000 to print new menus. She was just overall kind of rude about it. Please update your menu. If it costs too much to do that, please go through, and scratch it out with a pen on each menu. I got my hopes up really high for some raw oysters, just to be told it is not even a menu item, but for some reason it’s on the menu….
August 17 · Mariah VesselQuality sushi, good drinks and fast service! We had the Gyoza for an appetizer and started with the Hajime punch. For signature rolls I would really recommend the Spicy Girl Roll and Hajime Rainbow Roll.
July 25 · Kelly PletzMy husband and I decided to try Hajime out for lunch and we were very pleased with the experience.I ordered the 3 roll meal (~$13.50) and got a Boston roll, eel cucumber roll, and spicy crab roll. Very heavy on the cucumber for the Boston and eel roll, but it was very fresh and honestly a great balance with the meatiness of the spicy crab roll. In the future I’d order an eel avocado roll instead to balance out the flavors a bit better. My husband got a meal that had 5 pieces of sushi as well as a California roll. He enjoyed it, said they were light on the rice so you could really taste the fish, and enjoyed that rolls were filled up with extra veggies rather than extra rice. I don’t remember what his meal was called but it was $15 or less. Both of us also got a complimentary bowl of miso with our meals, which was great, as miso is my favorite. The miso was flavorful, lots of seaweed and a good amount of tofu, and the tofu was very soft. Both of our meals, along with a Diet Pepsi (and multiple free refills) was only $32 after tax. Great deal for a TON of food- would definitely recommend eating here for lunch. As for the service, it was great. We were able to find parking easily, got seated within 2 minutes of entering the restaurant, and had a really nice female waiter who refilled our drinks and took away our dishes when we were finished. The only negative is that the restaurant itself is very very dark. I love low lighting, but as we were sat near the bar and away from the windows, it was genuinely difficult to read the menu or see anything very well.Other than that, this is a great restaurant and I really enjoyed my experience here. Would surely come again for lunch sometime.
May 28 · Naomi StewartIt was a nice first experience. The sushi kinda reminded me of Tokyo or Kyoto sushi, wasn’t anything special or new. The atmosphere was really nice and dark, everything was quiet and clean.
July 09 · 태양FlowerWe love this place!!! We've visited it several times and the food has always been great!!! We usually go during Happy Hours because they have lots of specials. This time we had Pork Gyoza, Miso, and the Hajime Shushi/Sashimi combo that comes with the Hajime Roll.
