Hana Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar Reviews
We were greeted by friendly staff and seated almost immediately. The menu options ranged from affordable to expensive and there were cocktails and drinks for every taste. The wagyu fried rice was really good, as was the hibachi lamb and hibachi combination meals. Everything was seasoned perfectly without tasting full of salt which can be an issue at a lot of restaurants. Our chef Kevin was entertaining and funny and we had a really great time.
May 21, 2025 · Veronica EllisWhat a great experience. Shared so many dishes and we had our own chef. They shoot Saki in your mouth!Enjoyed teriyaki steak, shrimp, fried vegis and superb noodles. Great waitress and chef. Highly recommended the food and experience.
Mar 29, 2025 · Charlie S.The food was amazing! We had Hibachi and also got drinks and a sushi roll as an appetizer. We were disappointed that there was no happy hour due to Mother's Day. We especially came early to get drinks with mom in honor of Mother's Day, and nowhere on the website, reservation booking, social media, signs, etc. did the restaurant state that happy hour would not be in effect for the Holiday. Our second disappointment and why I gave only 4 stars was because our Hibachi Chef was really not exciting. Out of all the Hibachi places I've been, this was whomp whomp, kind of sad. He went so quickly without much interaction, no singing, no throwing utensils or the egg, the onion volcano tower was over before I could even take a photo (!!), the guy who urinates saki/water was quickly spritzed and then immediately put away. He seemed like he was trying to rush and didn't really care if we were entertained or not.I understand that maybe the restaurant was busy and they were trying to move things along, but at least try and pretend you're happy and give us something, we are indeed paying for an experience... I'm not sure where else you'd pay $28 for rice, veggies and a chicken breast without expecting some monies worth.I'd go again in hopes for better, but since the food is good, it may be better to just sit in the regular part of the restaurant and order food, rather than be disappointed from expectation.
May 13, 2025 · Kelley SmithMy daughter and I went to Hana for hibachi dinner. Their carbon dioxide service was down so they didn’t have drinks. The food was extremely salty and the shrimp was overcooked. They add so much sauce that the rice ends up being so soggy. Omg! In addition, they do not offer yum yum sauce. They have the regular ginger and some honey mustard like sauce. I did not use them. to the hibachi dinner we had sushi, which was great.
May 26, 2025 · Daphne EşiyokHaven’t been in years as I no longer live close but was nearby tonight so stopped with my family on 4. Luckily Sunday through Thursday from 3-6 is happy hour in the regular dining room. We got seated right away and the staff were friendly. I got a delicious lychee martini. My family shared miso soup, money bags (cute crab Rangoon), rock shrimp, spicy tuna roll, Philadelphia roll, rainbow roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Everything was fresh, delicious and came out quickly. Lots of lovely decor and mood lighting. All we got came to less than $50! I couldn’t believe the value honestly. Will absolutely return and highly suggest their happy hour specials.
