The green tea was the best part of the dinner.We want to come back to try sushi and hopefully we will get a better experience.The appetizer: Shumai was normalGood, the wasabi version was not too spicy.The Soi ramen was ok, didn’t really taste Japanese. The pad Thai maybe was not the best choice at the Japanese restaurant, but my son usually likes it and we wanted some sort of noodles for dinner.He ate it all, but left the chicken on the plate, he said didn’t like it.The real disappointment was the Yakisoba, it looked like coming from the frozen section…The atmosphere is very nice and the waitress was young and very sweet.The problem with service was that , when they walked us at the table it was all wet and also the floor and the seat. Somebody probably poured a glass and it wasn’t cleaned very well.We want to come back to try the sushi. Maybe going to eat ramen and noodles was not the best idea.

TLDR: Solid date vibes and great location. Food is as expected.Food: We got the tuna tartare, salmon avocado hand roll, salmon nigiri, rainbow roll, and kara miso salmon. Right off the bat, the tuna tartare was lukewarm paired with chips that resembled the skin of crab rangoons. It feels like they have a tub of every protein in the back and serves different dishes with the same tub, as tuna tartare is conventionally minced to a paste (cubes in this case). For the chips, I’m not sure whether to commend the reuse of the crab Rangoons fried wonton skin, since I was expecting tortilla chips which provide more stability and crunch. Regardless, the salmon avocado hand roll and the other sushi’s were delicious. I especially like the kara miso salmon roll with its deep flavor profile. The lychee martini drink was also amazing. The price point for the quality of food possibly reflects the expensive nature to upkeep a business in this location.Service: Prompt, friendly, and not aggressively hospitable.Atmosphere: the place is cute! great place for a date night. Would love to have a music playlist that resembles the restaurant though. Olivia Rodrigo and Bruno Mars could be replaced by instrumental music to compliment the experience.

Possibly the best and most authentic sushi we've ever had, and we've been to a lot of sushi places! The staff and the vibes were also very nice. Perfect place for dates since each nigiri order came with two pieces. Good desert selection for everyone. Mocktail was so good, it's not every day a non drinker gets to have so much fun.It's still just as good a year later.

The sushi here is phenomenal!!! We also got the shumai and, fair warning, the wasabi ones are intense (but delicious). The chef even brought out a little bubble gun for the baby 🥰

Date night sushi!! Sat at the bar and everyone was very nice. Food was excellent! We had hot sake, house ginger salad, miso soup, crab cakes, jalapeño and rainbow roll. Recommend 💯
