Hibachi 101 Reviews
We have ordered out from H101 multiple times and it seemed in the past tht the quality and amount of food was always okay. Today I ordered Hibachi Steak and what I received for $25 is truly a joke! The amount of food was on the smallish side, but okay. What was really upsetting is the fact that there was barely any meat in the tray at all and what little meat there was were tiny miniscule pieces of meat. Food is expensive enough as it is and then huge tips are expected. What I got is careless, greedy, rude and unacceptable and I will not order from them again. Be warned!!
January 19 · Alexander DrotschmannIf you really love hibachi food DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE, I order my plate from the hibachi lunch menu, it clearly stated that all the plates come with fried rice, as my plate was served, I noticed that my rice was STEAM rice as you Will appreciate on my posted picture.I proceed to ask the lady behind the counter why I did get steam rice instead of fried and she replied, "that's fried rice" she was very firm on her answer and reply one more time "that's japanese fried rice.Food is poorly cooked and over priced i do not recommend this place on any sense, customer service should be number one factor on any stablishment.
January 22 · Alberto RodriguezReally disappointed. Like, did you literally give me the leftovers from the night? I paid 11.50 for Chicken Hibachi. This is not Chicken, and this is not Hibachi. Nor is it 101. The owner literally gave me two tiny ice cream scoops of rice and half a fill of vegetables. Could have at least filled my container up for 11.50. The sauce in the side container tastes like watered down Thousand Island dressing. I bet the owner my money back that it is. I'm half Asian so I at least know what basic Asian should taste like, and this didn't even make the cut. Next time I will literally cook at home and do a better job. If I had read the review about the fly in the food prior to ordering here, I would have said a hard no. A hard no will be my next response to this business, which is so sad because the people working there seem so hospitable. If you're going to run a business, please offer something of value. Otherwise don't bother. Please do not open an Asian restaurant if you cannot actually cook quality Asian cuisine... Asians deserve better. Americans deserve better. Asian Americans deserve better. Asian. Cuisine. Lovers. Deserve. Better. I'm heading back to Giant China across the walkway! At least they give you an actual sauce packet. The only reason this sounds funny, is because this place is a joke, literally.
October 25 · Anonymous USAOne of my favorite hibachi places but its hit or miss on how much chicken or steak you get in your meal. Like most of these type places its mostly veggies and rice and not much chicken, steak etc. I don't come here much but we do like the the food.
May 26 · Jennifer AubutThe hibachi itself is fantastic, perfectly cooked and flavorful. But the white sauce... it elevates everything. It's creamy, tangy, and just plain addictive. I've been known to order extra just to dip everything in sight. If you're looking for incredibly delicious hibachi, especially that amazing white sauce, this is the place.
