Hibachi Express Reviews
I don’t often leave reviews, but I felt compelled to because the one in Dallas is pretty good. I just recently moved to Rockmart and tried hibachi express here in the Walmart shopping center. I’m extremely disappointed, I got the beef and shrimp hibachi meal and the beef was like chewing rubber, shrimp small with barely any flavor, rice tasted heated up and bland, and apparently vegetables only consist of lettuce, cabbage, and grilled onions? Got hot and sour soup and it’s been watered down to point it’s like spicy water. The only good thing I had was the can coke. I guess in trying to save money they’ve stretched everything to the point of crap. Was hoping would have a place out here to go to but I threw half my plate away. Don’t waste your money until they get a better cook and food.
Jan 08, 2025 · Natalie AtchesonFood is way too expensive and wasn’t very good. They told me it would be ready in 20 minutes but judging by the quality of the food I’d say it had been cooked a few hours earlier. I ordered two sesame seed chickens, one fried rice and one white rice. The fried rice was really no different than the white. This order came out to right at $30. It tasted like it should have cost $10. I won’t be coming back here to eat.
May 26, 2025 · JP 8123First off I told them I’m allergic to shrimp as they were cooking my food right beside shrimp. I told them twice that they couldn’t touch the spatula with the shrimp and then use it to cook my chicken. They assured me they were switching it out. I told them that it didn’t matter that the shrimp was being cooked right beside the chicken. So they said they would redo it. Fine l, great, well guess what I’m having to take my medicine to combat the fact that my throat is swelling. I guess they didn’t clean the grill either. You would think the heat from the grill would kill the shrimp juices, it does not. Second, I’ve had teriyaki chicken before and this is not it. No taste and no teriyaki flavor and the rice was bland. Believe me I hate making these reviews because I don’t do them really. But just wanted to warn others that if you eat there and you have allergies to any of the food you better watch them like a hawk. Because I’m more than likely having to the ER now.
May 15, 2025 · D Lisa GatesDon't order your food in the restaurant. They won't bother calling out your order and will have you sitting there for 40 minutes until you've had no other option but to turn into a hungry Karen. Turns out they put my order in the pick up section and knew exactly what number it was and which bag. Really? You couldn't let me know? 🙄
Feb 26, 2025 · sarah hayesOrdered online takeout & order was ready when I arrived. Food was hot & seemed fresh but the meat was overcooked. I ordered the House Special fried rice which includes chicken, beef and shrimp. The chicken was very dry, the beef was so thinly sliced it would’ve overcooked quickly & the shrimp was rubbery. Also I paid for extra shrimp & there was 6 shrimp on the plate, unclear as to how many of the 6 were “extra”. Plate consisted mainly of fried rice, very little meat. Cashier was pleasant, restaurant appeared clean, music was playing too loud but was pleasing.
