Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Reviews
The ramen here is really good. The food court is always crowded especially during weekends and it is a little tricky to get a table. But the food is all worth it.
Dec 12, 2024 · Jose LimThe Toroniku was delicious, and the spicy broth was just right for me (although others might find it too spicy)I ordered a medium bowl, and it was more than enough to keep me full. Conveniently located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, there are a few stores + the market to explore after.
Jan 03, 2025 · Kyo ChelI think shio (salt) ramen at Ramen Santoka is the best ramen I've ever had!Due to the nature of the food, if the pork bones are not properly boiled, it is difficult to eat because of the unpleasant smell of pork, but so far, all ramens I’ve had at Ramen Santoka didn’t have bad smell. And ramen broth is not greasy. It boasts a clean taste. The mentaiko gohan eaten with shio ramen is an unstoppable taste as the scrambled egg on top of steamed white rice and the salty mentaiko combine well.
Feb 07, 2024 · Christian ChoSantouka is one of the better ramen options in the OC area. Most of the good ramen are options are closer to downtown LA, so it's nice to have something closer for folks in the OC and surrounding areas.I always order the large spicy miso ramen with extra char siu ($15.95) with a side char-siu rice bowl ($6). Its enough to split between two people if you aren't super hungry. I enjoy the noodle quality and broth of the ramen. There are many different options and deals that they offer. This location is always a little chaotic to get into and out of. I recommend going during off-hours because the food court always has hordes of people in it.
Oct 09, 2024 · Marc RilleraSantouka is a ramen shop located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace’s food court in Costa Mesa.I’ve only had their Charsiu Shio/Shoyu (I can’t remember the full name) Ramen and it’s the same thing I order when I come here. Compared to other ramen locations, the price is affordable. It comes with about 3 pieces of charsiu (chashu pork), woodear mushrooms, green onions, sesame seeds, narutomaki, and some red berry (?) - at first glance I thought it was a mini tomato.Seating is centralized in the food court but, during busy hours, you have to be quick to find a table and snag it right away.Anyway, the ramen at Santouka is delicious and it keeps me coming back.
