Today, I decided to treat myself to a late lunch, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The restaurant was pleasantly uncrowded, allowing for quick and attentive service. I indulged in two delightful combinations: a tender salmon teriyaki bursting with savory flavors and a crunchy roll that stole the show's perfect balance of textures. To warm me up on this rainy day, I also enjoyed a steaming bowl of miso soup, which was comforting and delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic lunch experience that satisfied and contented me.

Adding to place to our list of favorite sushi places, and they have several locations.We came here in a group of 7 and had a wait time of 20 mins. I personally think that it's not too bad at that time because it was a full house. When we sat down our server was kind enough to let us know that the kitchen was backlogged and might take more than 15 mins for our orders to come out. She took our orders as soon as we were ready.Their menu has a large selection to choose from and it might be overwhelming because of all the good food items you would want to order. We ended up getting several rolls to share and they came out much faster than we expected.My personal favorite and I highly recommend the Chirashi Sushi, I loved their North Coast Signature Roll and I enjoyed the Soft Shell Crab Hand Roll.Also, we were told that a part of the proceeds from the sales of the North Coast Signature Roll goes to a good cause. That's a great motivation for me to get it - and it was also really good.On top all the good things I shared here, what was really the best part was the freshness of the ingredients, how clean it was, and how generous the portions are. The rolls and the sushi were big and had more meat that rice/extenders.We will definitely come back here again!

My favorite sushi place in north county San Diego! I am half Japanese and grew up in a Japanese household, so I tend to be very picky when it comes to Japanese food. The Hooked On in Carlsbad has fresh sushi that doesn’t leave you feeling bloated after. I usually get the vitamin roll (see roll with a flower in the picture) and they use fresh crab instead of imitation, which I LOVE. It does have fresh lime on top, so it’s definitely for citrus lovers. Their Mexican roll is also delicious if you love some spice and heartiness in your rolls. Staff is always on top of it and friendly. Prices aren’t crazy. 10/10 recommend and so does my family!

Great sashimi and sushi. Definitely worth a visit. They have tuna belly and it was great. Sea urchin, vegetarian options, noodles and many more choices for everyone.You'll want a reservation as the wait can be long.Service varies depending on how busy they are.
