Huge hibachi portions for the price! Great show and very entertaining. You can bring your own alcohol to the hibachi tables. The hibachi chefs and wait staff are super prompt and you get exactly what you order. They also have great sushi! We went with a party of 14 people for my brother’s birthday and everybody was satisfied with their hibachi dinne!

This was our 3rd time here. The menu has so much tuna and not enough variety of other fish combinations. An incorrect platter was brought to our table and we started eating it, then it was taken away 1 minute later. Additionally, there were three fruit flies around us. I killed 1. If we saw that many fruit flies at the front of the restaurant, then please close your eyes and imagine the rest of the restaurant. Some of the food was room temperature, which I know is fairly common with the tempura items. We won't be back.

Hey y’all, I’m back to discuss another great location for some satisfying food! Today, I visited the Ichiban Japanese Restaurant in Holdmel, NJ! To begin the location is clean, nice staffing, and the promptness is there! I ordered the Shumai with Shrimp tempura rolls, while my bestie ordered the California rolls. The food was tastefully full of freshness and very filling. We’ll be returning as this is one of the preferred Japanese restaurants around the area.

Best sushi and service I have seen in this area of NJ. Super clean and great price. Anyone who is hating on this place is either a Karen or came here on a Saturday night at prime time.

Disappointed with our visit. We came as a group of four for hibachi, and the experience did not meet expectations. The food quality was lacking — only three eggs were used for fried rice shared among eight people, which felt extremely stingy. Both the noodles and steak were overly salty, and the lobster tasted like it had been frozen for a while — definitely not fresh.The hibachi performance was underwhelming and felt rushed, with very little engagement or energy. For the price and reputation, we expected much better. Unfortunately, we left feeling unsatisfied and won’t be returning.
