Really wanted to like this place given that there are 2k+ reviews and is at a 5.0. However, a lot of that is the social media hype. It's great that the owner is socially generous, but as a paying customer evaluating the food and experience, it was somewhat disappointing, maybe average at best.Our table and some parts of the floor were sticky. We went fairly early, around 5:30PM or so. Definitely before any dinner rush, so whatever residue was still on the table was at least there for a few hours. Not claiming to know their process, but maybe swap out to a different cleaning rag between services.Service was quick, we got our food in less than 10 mins from ordering. Wife got the classic chicken ramen which she said was pretty flavorless. I sampled her ramen broth and chicken meatball and agreed. She also didn't like that they didn't rinse out the baby bok choy so you could still see the spots where they cooked the dirt in (see pic). Additionally, some of here noodles were not cooked. Not even to al dente.I got the spicy miso ramen which was ok. Similar to hers, wasn't a lot of flavor. By that, I don't mean just add salt, but not a lot of body to the broth at all. In fact, the broth in both of ours was noticeably thinner than at other ramen shops we've been to. Don't know if they thinned it out on purpose or just need to use a bit more miso paste. Additionally, mine was topped with fried garlic, but they were overfried to where they gave off a bitter flavor.There's not a huge amount of ramen places in general around this area, but still wouldn't recommend coming here for a ramen fix.

Some of the worst ramen I’ve had in a long time. The service wasn’t good, and the variety of dishes we ordered ranged from mid to poor (including two ramen bowls and the chicken curry). I’m usually a pretty optimistic reviewer, which says a lot. I also have doubts that the five-star rating is fully genuine. On a positive note the atmosphere was nice.

Five stars with almost 2,000 reviews are crazy! So we went out to check if they are that good - and they were really good! Breading of karaage had nice flavor and it was light and crispy. Gyoza was 👍🏼. I was scared of ordering tsukemen but I did and it was a success! I love their menma, they are nicely pickled! Tonkotsu soup was delicious too.

This place is a hidden gem. I had the Classic Tonkatsu Ramen for dinner. It was delicious! Great umami broth, noodles and melt-in-your-mouth pork. The service was very fast and friendly with nice indoor or outdoor seating. I will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

Great Japanese restaurant in the southern suburbs! We went to Japan recently and were looking for something that reminded of us of the food there. This place hit the spot! The restaurant atmosphere is great and reminiscent of our time in Japan. Easy to order up front at the counter. Lots of different options including your classic ramen dishes, different types of yakisoba, undon, and karrage. They also have lots of canned beverage options including milk tea, boba, beer, and more. We enjoyed the classic ramen and the chicken yakisoba and spicy chicken karrage. Very delicious! Quick service and delicious food. If you don’t have time to eat in, they do carry out as well. Will definitely be back again.
