While the categorization of "Doctor Near Me" is typically associated with healthcare providers, its application in this context serves to highlight Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki's role as a readily accessible and beneficial local service within the community. Much like a "Doctor Near Me" service connects individuals with essential health support close to home, Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki fulfills a local need for convenient, quality food, providing a desirable culinary service without the necessity of extensive travel. It positions itself as a readily available solution for those craving specific Japanese and fried chicken flavors, making it a point of local convenience and gastronomic interest.
Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki is situated at 2902 164th St SW B6, Lynnwood, WA 98037, USA. For inquiries or to place an order, patrons can reach them at (425) 835-0121 or via mobile at +1 425-835-0121. This address places it within a commercial hub in Lynnwood, suggesting easy accessibility for both local residents and those navigating the area. Its location within a complex, indicated by "B6," implies it's part of a larger retail or dining space, which often enhances overall convenience for customers. This geographic placement is crucial for a business aiming to be a "Doctor Near Me" equivalent for food services—being easy to find and reach is paramount for local utility.
Regarding the environment of Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki, the provided reviews suggest a focus on functionality and takeout convenience, rather than an elaborate dine-in experience. One reviewer explicitly mentions, "Small place but many people take out the food." This indicates that while there might be limited seating, the primary operational model leans heavily towards serving a bustling takeout clientele. The atmosphere is likely casual, clean, and designed for efficient order processing and pickup. Customers visiting in person might expect a no-frills, practical setting where the emphasis is squarely on the preparation and quick delivery of food. This kind of environment is common for establishments that prioritize speed, quality, and volume of orders, catering to the busy lives of their local customers. It's a pragmatic approach that aligns with the efficiency often desired from a "Doctor Near Me" service – getting what you need, quickly and without unnecessary fuss.
The service at Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki, while not extensively detailed in the provided snippets, appears to be efficient, particularly in handling takeout orders. The fact that "many people take out the food" implies a streamlined process for order fulfillment. The directness of the reviews, focusing on the food rather than extended interactions, suggests a service model that is perhaps direct and efficient, typical of quick-service eateries. While no specific comments on staff demeanor are made, the overall positive sentiment towards the food in some aspects implies that the service is at least competent enough not to detract from the dining experience. For a place that attracts significant takeout volume, promptness and accuracy in order handling are crucial aspects of good service. This efficiency is a core component of its local utility, allowing residents to quickly access their desired meals, akin to the efficient processing one expects from a local service provider, such as a doctor's office managing appointments.
The features of the food at Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki are a central point of discussion among customers, highlighting both strengths and areas of personal preference. The restaurant offers a dual focus on fried chicken and teriyaki, providing variety to its patrons. The fried chicken receives specific praise for being "moist and tasty," with a distinct "Soy garlic flavor." While one reviewer noted a personal preference for another establishment's fried chicken ("While my wife and I prefer Da Wa’s fried chicken"), they explicitly stated, "do not let that deter you from coming here for some tasty fried chicken." This suggests that even for those with established favorites, Kami's fried chicken is a strong contender. The katsu is another standout feature, with a reviewer stating, "I’d definitely come back for their katsu and to try some of their other offerings," indicating its high quality and appeal. The chicken teriyaki is noted for its "large portion" and described as "a little mild for spicy but good if you want more flavor," suggesting a balanced taste profile that might appeal to a broader audience. Conversely, one reviewer found the teriyaki to be "a bit on the dry side," indicating that consistency or personal preference might play a role in satisfaction with this particular dish. The variety of offerings, particularly the "chicken three ways" mentioned, implies a menu with diverse options beyond just standard teriyaki, allowing customers to explore different preparations of their favorite protein.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not detail any explicit marketing campaigns, discounts, or loyalty programs from Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki. Instead, the restaurant's promotion appears to stem organically from its food offerings and the curiosity surrounding its recent change of ownership. The act of a customer noting, "Saw that this place changed hands and I had a craving for teriyaki and fried chicken," serves as a form of organic promotion, driven by local awareness and a desire to try new or updated establishments. The positive comments about the chicken's moistness, soy garlic flavor, and the quality of the katsu act as compelling word-of-mouth recommendations. The large portion size of the chicken teriyaki, offering "great value," also serves as an inherent promotional point, appealing to customers looking for a substantial meal. While there isn't formal advertising, the consistent quality of certain dishes, particularly the fried chicken and katsu, serves as the most effective form of promotion for a local eatery. This reliance on customer satisfaction and product quality for promotion aligns with the utility of a "Doctor Near Me" service, where a good reputation and positive experiences are the primary drivers of community trust and patronage.
In conclusion, Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki in Lynnwood, WA, offers a distinctive local dining experience, specializing in both Japanese-style fried chicken and teriyaki. Its environment is modest and functional, catering primarily to a significant takeout clientele. While specific details on service demeanor are limited, the efficiency in handling numerous takeout orders is evident. The food features a well-regarded moist and flavorful fried chicken, particularly the soy garlic variant, and a highly praised katsu. The teriyaki offers large portions, though opinions on its moisture level may vary. The restaurant's promotional efforts are largely organic, driven by its unique menu offerings, change of ownership, and the quality of its popular dishes. For Lynnwood residents seeking convenient and flavorful Japanese fried chicken or teriyaki, Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki stands as a notable option, embodying the accessibility and specific service provision expected of a valued local establishment, much like finding a specialized "Doctor Near Me" for particular needs.

Kami Fried Chicken and Teriyaki Reviews
Saw that this place changed hands and I had a craving for teriyaki and fried chicken. As you can see from the picture I had chicken three ways. While my wife and I prefer Da Wa’s fried chicken, do not let that deter you from coming here for some tasty fried chicken or katsu. The teriyaki was a bit on the dry side for me. Ohana Teriyaki is still my number one spot for teriyaki. Toshi’s being number two. I’d definitely come back for their katsu and to try some of their other offerings.
April 20 · Guardabosques VerdeThe chicken was moist and tasty. Soy garlic flavor. The Chicken teriyaki was large portion and a little mild for spicy but good if you want more flavor. Small place but many people take out the food.
May 18 · Randy RichterThis isn’t the same old Kami and everything is a huge improvement from the last teriyaki joint. Liked the old place but love the new Kami!First: this place has great sizes for their wings. I got 10 after being so use to wing shops giving the smallest wings imaginable.Second: they are super tasty. Texture is great. The sauce was all over the wings. Really delicious. Finally: the inside looks great. Love the new styling. Service was fantastic.Looking forward to trying other items from this new establishment. Keep up the good work!
March 27 · Aaron BrucknerThey are very friendly! I believe it was the owners working. The food was extremely fresh and a large portion for the price. All of the food was very tasty. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
April 13 · Darian BassettGreat food & service! My family and I just ate lunch here and discovered that it just opened under new ownership (and a new menu) 2 days ago. The food was delicious, high quality, and large portions. The new owners were so kind and attentive. Our whole family enjoyed -- kid and adult approved! Highly recommend!
