Kan Ya Reviews
I visited this ramen spot with a friend, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. We both ordered the soup ramen and a cucumber salad. We arrived around 1 PM but didn’t receive our food until 1:40 PM. The total bill came to about $45, which felt steep for what we got.The cucumber salad was underwhelming—just sliced cucumber on lettuce with soy sauce and vinegar. If that’s standard, I wasn’t impressed. The ramen itself lacked flavor and tasted like plain noodles and water. The noodles weren’t even proper ramen but thin spaghetti. The vegetables were fine and cooked well, but the broth was bland and unappetizing. While they provide soy garlic sauce and chili oil, it didn’t salvage the dish.On Google, it shows that they serve vegetarian dishes, but it’s definitely not worth it. Overall, we left disappointed after eating just a bit. Not worth the price, wait, or experience.
December 22 · Komal SapraKan Ya in Elmhurst is hands down one of my favorite spots! I order from them at least once a week, and it never disappoints. Their spicy umami miso soup is incredible—rich, flavorful, and the perfect comfort food. Everything is always fresh and packed with care. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the quality is consistently top-notch. If you’re craving something delicious and satisfying, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!
May 23 · Kristal ArteagaThe only reason I chose to give this restaurant a two star rating is because of the service. The food was very good. We ordered the chicken fried rice and sushi and it was honestly honestly very good. The service was very poor. The waitress was very rude and didn’t even come by one time to ask us if we need a drink on refills or if our food is good. We asked for a few extra things like sauces, and it seemed like a big hassle for her to have to get us some extra sauce.
January 03 · PokegemzEh. Mediocre food. Good service. Will not be back.
April 11 · Niaja FunchesFood was Great fantastic noodles to broth ratio I have never seen such a good ratio . Perfect amount of broth with a generous amount of 🍜 noodles the vibe was calm and quiet and the service was great they were constantly checking if u were ok and made great recommendations. The Pot stickers were amazing . Not saying they are the Best ever but this combination definitely deserves 5 start 👏.
