Kansha Japanese Introduce
Kansha Japanese, located at 4910 Main St #108, Spring Hill, TN 37174, aims to serve the local community with a variety of Japanese culinary offerings. Operating within the "Doctor Near Me" platform category, which highlights readily accessible local services and goods, Kansha Japanese presents itself as a convenient option for those seeking Japanese cuisine in Spring Hill. This introduction will objectively detail the restaurant based on available online information, including both positive and critical customer feedback.
While explicit descriptions of Kansha Japanese's interior decor or detailed ambiance are not extensively provided in the given reviews, the nature of a local Japanese restaurant often implies a comfortable and welcoming setting. The presence of servers like Yadhira and Raul F, who are noted for being "friendly" and "great," suggests an emphasis on customer service that contributes positively to the dining atmosphere. For a "big sit down place," as one reviewer categorized it, the environment is likely designed to accommodate families and groups, offering a more traditional restaurant experience as opposed to a fast-casual setup. The fact that a "family of 4" could enjoy "full meals with drinks and appetizers" and still be "less than $100" suggests a focus on providing a pleasant and affordable sit-down dining experience for the local community. The discrepancy noted by one customer regarding the presentation of sushi compared to website photos suggests that the visual aspect of the food, and potentially the overall dining aesthetic, might be a point of variance, but the core environment is likely geared towards a standard, relaxed restaurant setting.
Kansha Japanese primarily offers dine-in services, allowing customers to enjoy their meals in the restaurant. The presence of dedicated servers, as highlighted by mentions of Yadhira and Raul F, confirms a full-service dining model. Customers can contact the restaurant directly at (615) 614-1095 or +1 615-614-1095 for reservations, inquiries, or to place orders for takeout. While the provided information does not explicitly detail partnerships with third-party delivery services (like DoorDash or Uber Eats), many modern restaurants offer such options for customer convenience. However, direct pickup is a readily available service. The restaurant appears to cater to both small and larger groups, providing a suitable setting for family meals or casual outings. The positive feedback on service ("better service here than any of the big sit down places") indicates a commitment to attentive and friendly staff, which is a significant aspect of the overall customer experience.
Kansha Japanese offers a range of Japanese dishes, encompassing both sushi and cooked entrees. However, the customer feedback presents a mixed picture of the culinary quality:
Sushi: This appears to be a notable part of their menu, with specific mentions of the Yellow Tail roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Spider Roll. However, the feedback regarding sushi is largely critical. One reviewer described the Yellow Tail and Spicy Tuna rolls as "warm" and lacking a "fresh feel or taste." The Spicy Tuna was noted for its "paste like consistency" and lack of chili flavor. The Spider Roll was also criticized for not tasting fresh and having a "flat" presentation that was "not even close to our experiences with other restaurants." This suggests inconsistencies in sushi preparation and freshness that potential diners should be aware of. The reviewer also warned against relying on website photos for sushi presentation.
Cooked Dishes: While specific cooked dishes are not detailed in the provided reviews, the phrase "full meals" for a family of four, along with "drinks and appetizers," suggests a broader menu that likely includes hibachi, teriyaki, or other cooked Japanese entrees typically found in similar restaurants. The positive general comments about "Good food" and "good prices" from one reviewer, contrasting with the negative sushi experience, hint that the cooked items might be a more consistent strength for the establishment.
Appetizers and Drinks: The mention of appetizers and drinks confirms these are available to complement meals.
The contrasting reviews highlight that while some customers find the food generally "good," others have had disappointing experiences, particularly with sushi quality and presentation. This suggests that the culinary strengths of Kansha Japanese might lie more in its cooked dishes rather than its raw fish preparations, or that consistency in quality can vary. Potential diners seeking sushi should consider these varied experiences.
Kansha Japanese appears to offer good value for money, especially for full-service dining. One reviewer explicitly stated, "Good food, good prices. Can't beat it. Family of 4 full meals and was still less than 100 with drinks and appetizers." This strong endorsement of their pricing indicates that the restaurant provides an affordable option for families or groups looking for a sit-down Japanese meal without breaking the bank. While specific ongoing promotions are not detailed, the competitive pricing itself serves as a significant draw for local patrons. The perceived value, however, may depend on the specific dishes ordered, as indicated by the contrasting reviews on sushi quality versus overall food and price. The friendly service, as noted by multiple customers, also adds to the overall value proposition, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Kansha Japanese's ability to provide a comprehensive meal for a family at a reasonable cost suggests a focus on accessibility and affordability for the Spring Hill community.

Kansha Japanese Reviews
Disappointing experience. Granted, we only tried some sushi (don't go by the photos on their website, not even close from what was delivered to our table). The Yellow Tail roll was warm and didn't have a fresh feel or taste. The Spicy Tuna Roll, again served warm, which had the Tuna so chopped up it was nearly a paste like consistency without much of a chili flavor or heat. The Spider Roll didn't taste fresh or have much flavor either, and the presentation was flat and not even close to our experiences with other restaurants. Our server, Yadhira, was friendly and did her best, but unfortunately, we haven't found this to be a place we will return to.
