Kashin Japanese Restaurant Reviews
This was a super cute restaurant. Food was great! Traditional Japanese food (sushi, tempura, katsu, ramen/udon, teriyaki, etc.) plus they've partnered with a poke bowl place so they also have poke! I got the Over the Rainbow poke bowl. My mom got donteri(?) Both were excellent. Miso soup was great! Salad dressing is the more sour version of ginger dressing.Parking is pretty easy, and there's a lot of it, though if it's a super busy night, you might have to park behind the building.
Feb 16, 2025 · HallieWe enjoyed trying this new gem that we discovered. From the moment we walked in the door, we actually thought it was a poke restaurant. We quickly realize that there’s also Sushi here! We were greeted fairly promptly and the atmosphere was good. The place is a little small and service took a while. But food was delicious and we really enjoyed our experience. I would recommend anyone looking for a good Poké or a sushi place to give this small gem a try! My favorite roll was the one they grilled! Unfortunately I don’t remember the name, but I will post a few pictures and videos below! It is a little bit on the price your side, but certainly worth trying at least once. We do plan on coming back.
Jun 06, 2024 · TatyanaI really enjoyed dinner here! I got here at about 5:10 and within an hour they were busy. The customer service was amazing! And the food was too. Literally the best katsudon I’ve had in NC! Will definitely be back to have dinner again soon!
Mar 28, 2024 · Stacy MuseBest poke bowels we’ve ever had! The regular sushi rolls and poke bowels were reasonably priced. I definitely recommend trying the Aloha bowel. Our server was especially kind and attentive and we were seated very quickly. We’re already excited to come back here and try out the rest of the menu!
Jan 20, 2025 · Alema PrakSo first off, every time I've ever been here, it's been a 5 star experience. This time was different.I was in the area for work and I could feel my blood sugar getting low. I decided to call ahead to order take out to pick up on my way home from work. Little did I know, between rush hour and bad weather, it would take me 30 minutes to drive the 4 miles to pick up. By the time I got there, my hunger level had peaked and I knew I had to eat soon. I explained the situation to the waitress, asking if it would be okay if I ate in instead of taking it to go. She was more than accommodating and I even ordered a sushi roll to go with what I'd already ordered. I'm very grateful because I'm not sure I could have made it home safely otherwise. I'd give 6 stars if I could.Sometimes, I'm overwhelmed by the kindness of others.
