Katsuya Reviews
Absolutely incredible experience!! Love this place. The sushi was the highest quality, and the cocktail menu was extensive and amazing. Will be back every time I'm in New York!
Nov 22, 2024 · Stephen BallOverall experience was wonderful and will definitely be returning to try other items ln the menu. The food itself was very flavorful and fresh. We chose to order the Katsuya Classics, which includes 9 items from their menu. All of the best items and out of all 9, not one single item was considered in anyway to be disappointing. Only negative to it, is that everyone km the table has to get the same classics.I loved the spicy tuna crispy rice, enough to place an additional order for more. The crispy Brussel sprouts were very delicious and the best I've ever had. The only dish that I can say was not for me or on my favorites, was the miso cod. Saying that, while still eating every piece of it.Our waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She also explained the menu in detail and answered our questions. The staff was very friendly and we were treated as if we were important guests.I highly suggest that you try Katsuya, specially as a Nobu alternative. They both have their strengths and weaknesses and are both great places to experience.
Aug 19, 2023 · Erick ArceNice place to visit if you’re in the area. Great ambiance, amazing drinks our bartender Shawn went above and beyond immaculate costumer service. Highly recommend the spicy tuna crispy rice
Feb 26, 2025 · Adriana HernandezThis place was very average for the price point. We did the tasting menu for $85pp and while the presentation was beautiful many of the dishes failed to wow. I did love the spicy tuna with crispy rice though - that was great. You also enter through a mall of sorts so that part of the experience isn’t great. The restaurant itself though is hidden away enough that you soon forget that fact though and the interior is well done.
Oct 09, 2022 · Julie AllenGreat service but the food was served all different temperatures. Dumplings and Brussel spout were cold. Yellow tail was no fresh and left a weird taste in the mouth. Crispy rice was soaked in butter and had no crisp. And the baked hand rolls came in a seaweed wrap instead of a soy wrap.
